IEM Kolkata (IEM Saltlake) Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 4th semester the students become eligible for the campus placements but the preparation and grooming does get started from the first day itself. Several companies like SAP Labs, Cognizant, TCS, Accenture, Federal Bank etc come up to offer on campus placements here. This institution also ensures 100% placement and the average package for this course is 15lpa.

Placement is no doubt best among any college in West Bengal even better than big govt colleges. Best placement is awarded to this college for a reason minimum every student will ofcourse get atleast 2 to 4 offers from jobs from best companies

From 4th semester or 6th students will become eligible for campus placement Their is so many companies come like Wipro, Infosys,tata, and many other companies.like 10lpa per year or more than that I don't know about this.after my degree i will do job

IEM is the best private college in West Bengal in terms of placement opportunities. even at the time of recession, many students got multiple offers from MNCs like TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, IBM, Capgemini, ITC Infotech, Oracle, and many others. Many students opted for a master's abroad and pursued Mtech or MBA from IITs and IIMs.

From 5 semester students are eligible for campus placements. Companies like pwc, amazon, Flipkart, motital oswal, bajaj ect visited campus Almost 95% students get the placement My plan after getting the degree is to get a placement and earn some market knowledge

After completing the 5th Semester you are eligible for the placement only if you have opt for placement and attend the classes with 75% attendance. Companies like Delloite, Amazon, TCS etc comes for placement process.

The training methods are industry based and well suited for an it job or for any further government exams. The difficulty level is fair enough for an engineering student. The practise of how companies conduct their hiring and simulations make it to the point overall.

The course curriculum is good. But I would suggest that their are most subjects which are never useful in our life. There are subjects which are beneficial too. The course curriculum could have implemented some subjects related to aptitude and real world problem solving. The exams taken here are very frequent which includes 4 mid semester and 2 semesters in a year with a medium to hard difficulty level.

From the third semester, students become eligible for the campus placements. Companies like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and Oracle visit our college. My plan is to get a good campus placement and then after a few years pursue M.Tech.

Placement are good and best in West Bengal among private Most people get placed although the average package lies between 5.5-6 lacs Oracle and Adobe and PWC hires Candidates at a really good package Above 7.5-18 lpa
