MITS Gwalior Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placement percentage was good in the college. Chemical engineering was famous from there. Some companies offer more than 5 lakhs per annum. I had 90000 rank in jee so i was given Chemical Engineering branch here. I didn't had any option so i accepted it.

I choosed mechanical engineering because I liked this coarse very much. Faculty: student ratio is pretty good 1:10 means one faculty per 10 students. Faculty are highly qualified and most of the faculty are from IIT, NIT , and college's ex students. All terms are held on time, and exams are based on understanding subjects, so if you understand your subject then you can pass easily.

From the 6th semester onwards students of the college become eligible for placement. Most of the students get placed after 6th semester in various companies like Capgemini TCS byju's Amazon etc, there are various offers offered by the companies to the students mostly for the students who belongs to cse, it ec and e&tc branch and this year on 2020 the highest placement from the college is 19 lacs per annum which is given to a mechanical boy.

College give opportunity to 4th year student to apply for campus placement and by the month of September companies start interviewing students. There's plenty of companies visiting MITS including Amazon, Byjus, Samsung, etc. According to 2020, MITS, Gwalior have the highest package of 24 LPA and lowest of 3.6 LPA and 80% of student get selected in the college placement.

After completing the sixth-semester students are eligible for placements. Many companies like Wipro, Tata, Infosys, Amazon, etc visit every year. The highest package is around 20 lakhs. Packages are based on your quality of knowledge. The different branches have different percentages of selection, for CS/IT is approximately 100 percent.

Placements in MITS are generally provided for Branch CSE And IT. Major Companies that visit our college are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, L&T, etc. But if you do well, then there are many chances for you to grab a high package.

After the 6th semester exam, you are eligible for campus placement. There are many companies like Tata, Hero, google, Mahindra, honda, Facebook, Microsoft, and so on. According to 2020, there is the highest package is 24 lakh and the lowest package is 3.60 lakh per annual. Approximately 80% of students getting placement. My plan is that after the degree I have a clear gate and IES exam and then got a good job.

In the 3rd year, students are eligible for internship and in the 4th year, students are eligible for campus placement. Although summer internships are conducted in 1st and second year too. This college has a good alumni network and various companies visited including TCS, Flipkart, Wipro etc. And the highest package offered last year was around 10 Lakh and the average package is 3-4 lakh. Around 60% of students are getting placed every year. This college also supports entrepreneurs (and also has a club for the same namely start-up club and marketing club) and provide funding to those students who're willing to start their own start-up or have any innovative idea. My plans after getting the degree are to start my own business and I expect my college will support me in my journey.

Every year companies come for recruitment in our campus for final year students. Most of the companies are mass recruiters. Big companies like Byju's , Amazon TCS, Wipro also visits every year. The highest package is 12 lakh per annum. The average package is 3.5 lakh per annum and the lowest package is 1.20 lakh per annum. There are 65% of students got placed in the campus. My plan is to get a good placement after getting my degree.

I choose this college because its a good institute and the faculty are also good enough. Labs and liberary are well organised and the hostel facilities and college facility are good enough in such amount of fee. Overall the college institute is good enough.
