There is also a scholarship scheme for economically backward sections which gives them huge fees grace and great benefits so that no person who is capable of learning can be left behind
Faculty and staff are very good. annual fests amd all are very well, teachers and staff are very supportive and also best roi in all ipu colleges.
The aveage package is around 8 lac per annum .lots of compaines come for the placements and offer a nice package ,in fact this year goggle is also come for hiring and offer a nice package.

Dislikes

Campus life is not that great because it has very poor canteen.
Sports and extracurricular is very poor the college has only one ground and most of the time students are not allowed to play there.
Canteen is very bad and ambience is also not good of canteen.

SCHOOL LIKE COLLAGE WITH FUN AND CHALLANGES

THE MAIN REASON OF ME CHOSING THIS COLLAGE IS THE LOCATION OF THIS COLLAGE WHICH PROVIDES YOU HANDFULL OF EXPOSURE AND DIFFERENT LIFE EXPERIENCES AS THIS COLLAGE IS A PART OF INDERPRASTHA UNIVERSITY ,IT PROVIDES YOU WITH BETTER CONNECTIVITY TO OTHER
I PERSONALLY LIKE THE WAY THE FAULTY WORK WITH THEIR STUDENTS IN EACH AND EVERY POSIIBLE WAY THEY NOT ONLY HELP IN ACCAEDMICS BUT THEY ALSO GUIDE YOU FOR YOUR FUTURE DECISON.

I DISLIKED THE MOST IS THEIR OLD SCHOOL SYLLABUS.THEY ARE STILL TEACHING THE CHEMISTRY TO B.TECH STUDENTS.
THE SPORT FACILITIES OF THIS COLLEGE ARE VERY POOR.THEY ARE NOT HAVING EVEN PROPER COURT FOR ANY SPORT.
ONE OF THE MOST PROBLAMATIC THING IN THIS COLLEGE IS NETWORK ISSUES.THIS COLLEGE IS NOT EVEN PROVIDING PROPER WIFI FACILITIY TO THEIR STUDENTS.

Placement Experience:

ACC TO THE FFICIAL DATA PROVIDED ON COLLAGE SITE IN 2022 THE NO OF STUDENTS WERE AROUND 600 AND THE PLACEMENT RATE IS 100 PERCENT WITH OVERALL 1046 OFFER LETTERS AND A HIGHEST PACKAGE OF 1.7 CR (OFF CAMPUS). BUT THIS IS DECREAD IN 2023.THE HIGHEST PACKAGE WAS ABOUT 72 LAKHS AND THERE WAS ABOUT 80 PERCENT PLACEMENT RATE .SO ACCOURDINGLY THIS TREND IN DECRESING AND A STUDNT IN THIS COLLAGE HAS TO STUDY HARD TO GET A BETTER JOB OPPORTUNITY. MY PLAN AFTER GRADUATION IS TO GO TO GERMANY AND DO SPECILIZATION IN AI WHICH WILL OPEN MORE DOORS IN FRONT OF ME

FACTS OF MSIT

Likes

I personally like the location of this college i.e. Janakpuri.This provides easy connectivity to the market and much needed exposure for the newly growing engineers.Thus this location also helps in good social interaction.
Another applaudable keypoint of this college is that the faculties of this college are really helpful and hardworking.They personally take care of academics of every student and they all work together for the placements of the students.
I also appreciate the mess of the hostel of this college.They have well maintained and hygienic.They are providing really tasty and healthy food at just minimal amount of 3500/-per month.

Dislikes

The infrastructure of this college is very disappointing and old fashioned.It gives you the feeling that you are still in a school not in a college.
The faculties and good and hardworking but they are not worki on skill devel of the students.They still believe in old school studies.Just learn what they say and write the same in exam one will easily get marks and the rest of skills kill.
The electricity supply of college is very poor.Their is no proper arrangements in case of power cut for the college.This sometimes need to loss of studies of students.

The placement rate of our college is about 90% which is in my vision not so bad and not so good as in this time of recession and high competion getting a job of about 7-8lpa is not bad at all.There are several top companies and few are even mass recruiters also.

A Review about MSIT by a CSE student

Likes

the girls:boys ratio is around 1:3 in cse* (depends on class to class) [there are 4 classes in cse shift 1]
the timing for shift 1 are too early in winter season as it is freezing cold sometimes
the faculty are very experienced (some teachers have 20+years of experience)

Dislikes

the classrooms are very hot ac are there only on 6th floor and labs all other classrooms don't have ac
the infrastructure is old the classrooms are just like that of school
75 percent attendance is mandatory atleast in 1st sem

Placement Experience:

The highest package was around 1.7 crore per annum and the average package for cse is around 13 to 14 lakh per annum there are many companies that come for college placements like google, amazon, microsoft, accenture, wipro, TCS etc

Good culture and valuable feedback from teachers
Co cirrucular activities and other things

Dislikes

More time spent on theory not practicals in academics
Need to be more precise on real world problem solving then just only bookish problems

You can either opt in for placement or out its completely a student choice and placements conducted very nicely and systematically such that each individual gets a chance to compete. Various exams based on companies are been taken then students shortlisted move forward ahead for interviews and college percentages also play a vital role in qualifying for these initial rounds

Likes

Placement is quite nice in this college some big company came to this college for recruitment
all neccessary and well maintained college in all respective
organized different hackthons and various level of coding competion

Dislikes

monotonous education no upskill teacher jut do their duties
small campus and no sport facilities and nor opportunities
lack of mangement skill and eager to do some thing for upskills the student

Placement Experience:

at first you have to score above 8 cgpa to be elible to part of placement group in semester exama and dfrom 7th semester onward companies are trying to get you hired make sure you get hied as soon as possible so that your later year of college gone smooth and stresssfree for work on your basic and improve the coding skills and learn new skills day by day to elible for the upcoming opprtunitites and be in 1 percentile of student list

Likes

College location is well connected, faculty is good.
Good placements , overall all the major recruiters of Technology field come to our college for offers.
From sixth semester internship drive is also conducted, so that students get internship.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is a bit old ,but they have started to improve some labs even have latest Nvidia graphics card for AI related development.
Only one canteen in college which is not sufficient.

Placement Experience:

Those who have maintained at cgpa of around 7.5 are eligible for all companies. For mass recruiters 6 cgpa is enough. Popular companies are Adobe , Amazon which give highest package on campus ranging between 50-60 lpa , other than them ION,ZS, YAMAHA,VISTA, and many more offer package between 10-20 lpa and take average of 10-15 students per company. Highest package was offered from Google which was international and CTC was 1.15 CR.

Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology - A hit and a miss as an Engineering College in New Delhi

Likes

- The location of the college is brilliant ( Magenta Line and Blue Line stations are both the same distance from the college)
The placements at my college are exceptionally brilliant
The students here are all enthusiastic about coding and upskilling themselves.

Dislikes

The area of the college is only 8 acres - leaving very little/no room for enjoying inside campus.
Some of the faculty here are exceptionally conservative and don't allow anyone to play sports in the main ground
They even hold classes on Saturdays which i feel interferes with the weekend holidays students get.

Placement Experience:

- Students are eligble for placements after the start of the 7th semester where companies start visiting the campus and holding placement drives for the people. - There are about 1500-2000 offers from about 40-45 companies that visit the campus - The highest package usually is from ZS Associates that offer a 16 LPA package. - About 80-85 percent students are placed in our college. - I plan to try for the FAANG companies after getting my degree

Average college experience. Plenty of guidance but less opportunities.

College has lenient attendance policies for students
Teachers are Knowledgeable and Supportive with students
Students get proper guidance in and out of classroom

College does not provide any internship opportunities
No active sports facilities are available
Infrastructure is poor and outdated by today's standards

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from 7th semester. Companies visited are ION group, veersa, accenture, tcs, infosys, optimus info, tech mahindra etc and they have made around 100 offers till yet. Highest package is 17lpa by ION and average is around 6-7 lpa. Currently about 20% Students in my class are placed.

Good faculty but bad facilities

Likes

There are no irrelevant restrictions for students like dress code or entry/exit in college.
The faculty for almost every subject is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Dislikes

There are very less extra curricular activities and no sports facilities for students (except football).
The semester schedule is very hectic for students as 2 mid-sem exams take place with internal, external practical exams and end semester examination.
The placement of this college has been degrading with time. For branches like ece and eee, on campus placements are very bad and mostly mass recruiters visit.

Placement Experience:

Students start getting placement offers in 6th/7th semester. Many big companies visit the campus but they only hire the students of cse/it branch and ece/eee students are left with mass recruiters mostly. Average package for on campus placements for ece is 4-5 lpa which is below average. To get good placement, you should apply off campus of you have skills.

Likes

College students are decent and also creative in their fields
Coding culture is decent if u have a good group then gates of hackathons are always open for u
So many societies to explore more things other than your studies

Dislikes

Small campus size it has only 4 acre campus
Some labs are not well maintained, especially chemistry lab
Some professor are very strict and rude,and some teachers are also not good

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college curriculum is same as of other college , we have all core subject in first year and after 1 year main subjects came , criculum is set accordingly to new generational change . Exam is quite moderate and we can easily get 80 % marks in one month preparation.
