MSIT Kolkata Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Our college organises placement activities from the 3rd year. I took admission to this college by many famous companies that visit our college for placement. Many companies like Capgemini, TCS, CTS, Tech Mahindra etc visited and took talented students. In our college, about 80-85% of students can get a placement job on campus. From our college, many students get above 10 lakhs package.

Getting placement from the college is like wish for every student those who joins a college. So yes our college tries to maximize this thing every year. More and more number of students are getting placed every year to high branded companies like TCS, TechMahindra, Maruti suzuki, CapGemini and many more large companies. Students become eligible for campus interviews as soon as they reach the 4th year level. They go through several interview rounds and after cracking the interview they gets selected for the job. After successfully complete the course they can directly join the job they were chosen for. The highest package offered till date is about 9.5lakh per year. And the average package varies from 3.5-4 lakh per year. The rate of students getting placed every year is nearly about 65% which is very much appreciated by the students and parents as well. My intention after getting the degree is to join the company where my father works as engineer, or maybe through placement I'll join too

The campus placement of our college is just excellent. Almost every student get their desired jobs with minimal effort from their end. A student becomes eligible for a job after they reach the 4th year or 7th semester. They get reserved for the job by the companies and afterwards, when they complete their course they can join the job they were opted for. Hugh tech giants like Tech Mahindra, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Bajaj and many more companies visit our campus. Every student is given opportunities for the job. The lowest package job offered was around 3.5lakh and the highest valued job was around 9lakh per annum. Our college has maintained a record of giving around 65%+ students who get the job every year. After I get the degree I want to join an engineering-based company and want to serve the company as an engineer. That's my goal.

I have a deep interest in coding and software development. That's why I have chosen Information Technology in my Engineering. We had 50 students in our IT department and 15 professors and many lab assistants in our department. So our student-faculty ratio was very good. All of them are highly qualified and they have a lot of teaching experience. Some of them are researching in many fields. We had a lot of practical projects and practical classes and we had a lot of seminars organized. All of our classrooms have audiovisual study facilities. We had many mock exams and we had the 8th semester in 4 years. Last year is all about practical and campus placement. We had internal exams and practical exams too. They are easy to pass

As much I know, from the 6th or 7th semester students become eligible for campus placement s. TCS, Infosys, and many other companies visit our college and the highest offers got 42LPA. My plans after getting the degree are first 5 years would continue the job, and after will study MBA from abroad. And wants to become an entrepreneur.

Students from the 3rd Year 6th Semester are eligible for the Campus Placements and who have CGPA more than 6.0 are eligible to sit for the Campus Placements. The Average packages for every company providing is 3.6LPA and The Highest package provided this year is 32LPA, by Amazon SDE. Companies such as CTS,TCS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI, MINDTREE, AMAZON, BRITISH TELECOMM etc and many more are there.

From 6 th sem students are eligible for placement and placement is very good. In my batch almost every student get placed. I want to join my comapny after b.tech then i try to increase my skill so that i can join higher post.

From 6th sem onwards, the companies come for placement in our college. The placement rate is quite high here with each student getting a package of around 3lpa. Almost all reputed MNC'S visit each year for placements

Our college has a very good record of giving placements to students. The students become eligible for getting placements after they finish the 3rd semester(from 7th sem) onwards. Many tech giant companies like WIPRO, MINDTREE, INFOSYS, TCS, TECH MAHINDRA comes and offers job placements. The average package offers are around 2.5-3lakh/year and the highest package offer is around 6.7-7.5lakh packages per year. Every year above 70% student gets placed in various companies from different fields. My personal plan after getting the degree is to join as a mechanic in an automobile based company as I like designing cars and various parts.

Many students from our college got placed when they were studying in the 3rd year(6the semester). As per based on their performance and capabilities the college urges the companies to take them into their company for the job and thus many students got their placements beforehand. There are almost all 36companies from different working sectors attached to our college. Popular among them are INFOSYS, WIPRO ,TCS ,MINDTREE, BHEL, SAIL and many more IT sector companies and core companies combined. The average package a student can get is around 28,000-30,000/month from the starting of their career. The highest package which was noted was around 75,000-80,000 per month. Our college has an excellent placement record of around an 80% success ratio. Every year more than 70% of students get placed into the grand tech companies of their choice. My plan is to join any civil-based company to pursue my dreams.
