NIE Mysore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I choose conputer science because I like it a lot. I have been into coding since a long time since my childhood. I really admire it and that will be of my future interest when I take up my job. faculty student ratio not so sure

The placements in our college are very good. As we have seen our seniors, have a very good average package of 12 lakh per annum for the CSE branch. And also for the mechanical branch, the placements are also good.

From the 5th sem onwards we are able to attend campus placements and the companies visited once hares are like Infosys Delloite Accenture Microsoft and amazon and all visit our college for placements and internship offers.

Students become eligible for placement after 6th sem however internship opportunity is available everytime you just have to be qualified enough more than 95 percent student gets placed. However I am planning for higher degree

Campus placement of the National Institution of Engineering is good ISE and CSE have an average package of nearly 1200000 per annum mechanical branches also get good packages like 20lakh per annum one girl got 40 lakh per annum.

Placement sin college is preety good. We have plenty lot of companies and some big tech giants like boeing,cisco, amagi. The students become eligible from the 4th sem onwards but the main companoes start comming from 6th sem. The highest packagefor our cllg is 49 lpa last year amd the average package is 11 lpa. Approx 98 percent students get placed from nie cs/is branch and for other branches it is 80-90 percent.

I choose electronics and communications wholeheartedly. Since my childhood, I was very interested in electronics and very humble in learning new topics in digital electronics. I was never a coding guy, so I took electronics and communications as my course. It was an easy choice for me. So class's average strength is around 65 to 70. And the faculty: student ratio is quite good. The teachers are well qualified and most of them are doctorate holders. The timetable is arranged in a manner such that there is smooth conduction of classes for all-year students. The exams are semester wise and there will be internals every month. Questions are better, you have to know little bit contents taught in classes and also from textbooks. It is easy to pass.

The placements at NIE are very good. There will be placement training at the end of the 5th semester and the placements will begin at the starting of the 6th semester. Currently, the 7th sem is going on and over 500 students have been placed in various good companies.

Campus placements are one of the best in the clg where the avg pay scale exceeds 9 LPA, around 300+ companies visit NIE and there are 675+ students with at least one offer in the hand. This is the best clg when it is considered with placements.

After completing the 6th semester all the students are eligible for placement. Our college is one of the most visited colleges by companies in Mysore. The company that visits our college are hello doc, TCS, Samsung, SimpleTech, Sandvine, saber, etc. The average package offered to our students is around 7 to 8 LPA. I got placed in two companies with 7lpa and 9lpa. I chose tcs company. Most of our friends are placed in good company with good packages. The highest package offered is 34 LPA. Before starting the 7th sem only 70 percent of our classmates are placed. After the degree, I plan to take industry experience in a good way and become an expert in my domain
