NIE Mysore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Students get eligible for placement from the 6th sem onwards. many companies came to our colleges such as cisco, Samsung, amazon and many other good companies and offer a good amount of students for different positions and also pay above 12 lacs. this year cse, ise, ece placements are approx 90 percent. my plan is also same get a degree with a good placement offer.

There is an internal exam that will be conducted every month .two internal will conduct in one semester. and one end-semester exam will be held. internal exams are too easy u can easily get good marks by studying the night before the exam.

I am personally interested in this course in Computer Science. The faculty-to-student ratio is not as much as expected but it is decent enough. All the professors either graduated from VTU or from NIE itself although there are quite a few exceptionally talented professors. They are well-versed in the subject but the drawback is that no professor teaches a single subject. Every professor tries their level best to teach whatever subject they can but some of them fail to do so. But college subjects are pretty easy and manageable. Exams will be conducted once every 45 days and it depends on the professor and the subject whether you'll pass or not. Attendance in classes is taken very seriously which is a whopping 85%, meaning you can't spare any time for the development of any extra skills required for placements. It's not that difficult to pass at all. The internal exams can be done in one night but preparation is needed for semester exams.

I choose Computer Science because my interest in Courses and placements are also good for CS in our college. The faculty-student ratio is around 1:40, Teachers are well qualified to handle the subjects with some exceptions, We have 3 mid-term exams and 1 Sem End Exam. It is easy to pass the examinations.

In 2021, 140 companies visited the campus and the highest package was 21lac there is 100%placement in the CSE department and 90% in the ISE department The average package is 8 lac For the internship from the 4th sem, you are eligible and get time for the internship The college provides internship There is a counsellor which guides what to do after the degree

Speaking about placements these college is very good compared to other engineering colleges in Mysore and many companies visit every year and should get a chance when they are in 6 semesters to seat in placements. The average salary is around 4.5 L per year and the highest till now is 48L per year in Microsoft company.

Campus placements are really good. It has increased exponentially over the past 4 years. The college has ranked no. 3 in Karnataka with respect to placements. Placement cell helps a lot with campus placements and internships. Many companies including JP MORGAN AND CO., GOOGLE, AMAZON, CISCO, and MICROSOFT visit the college during placements. The average package last year for CSE AND ISE was 10 lakhs per year. 100% of placements by the college were achieved every year.

last year average package was around 8LPA and there is a 100% placement drive for cs students many companies have come to this college like mc kennsy, halodoc, siemens, bosch, fiedility, aerotronics and max package is around 40 LPA the placement is the best in entire Mysore there is no doubt in it

Placements of NIE are as good as SJCE college and even better this year. The average package is around 7.5lakh and 8.5lakh for CSE. 98% of the students get placed. The highest package is 22lpa on campus and 48lpa off-campus.

CS and Is placements are very good. From the sixth semester student becomes eligible for the placements . During the the the the placement drive, many companies visit the college. Namely Feudality - 12lpa, DeShawn - 15lpa, cisco - 13.5lpa, hallodoc - 12 LPA, JP Morgan - 14lpa and there are other dream companies visiting the college. The highest package grabbed was 43 LPA and the the the the the average cs/Is package is 7.5 LPA. More than 90% will get the placements.
