NIE Mysore Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Placements r good for CSE and ISE and all college cares about is 100% placements whether u r getting 2L or 14L. College just gives u 2 offers and after that, it doesn't let u sit in placements further. The placement cell is also not good like earlier Goldman Sachs used to come to College for placements but it doesn't come anymore just because of college. This all is told by my seniors and they also said that the placements in college because of all this is going on a downward curve.

The placement of NIE is really good honestly. Average: 7-8 LPA. Highest (in-campus) : 29.4 LPA given to 17 students of CS/IS by Cisco. Highest (off-campus): 46 LPA given by Microsoft to 1 student. Many students got 12-16 LPA from JP- Morgan and other companies.

It was close to my house, and it is a respectable institute. Was actually expecting to be placed in a good Construction Campany, sadly that was not the case. Heard that the lecturers for Civil Engineering were pretty experienced. Not much encouragement is provided for extra curricular activities.

Best college ever especially for cse branch admission can be done through CET,COMEDK,also through management quota.Admission will be propabably after CET allotment in Karnataka,Yeah people can go through official website of Nie Or engineering sites,Shiksha.com etc etc.

It's one of top colleges in Karnataka, professors are very strict in teaching which is good for us,I preferred this college because I wanted to study in mysuru, because it's a nice city. You can visit nie.ac.in website for more info about this college.

I have choosen NIE becase as per my knowledge it's one of the best institute in India and students are really lucky to get graduated here, and offcourse to get seat in this college you have to study really hard in your PU days and later you may get a good result, and mainly NIE is known for its best education system so i have choosen this college.

Top ranked college in the state for mechanical engineering courses. Placement is very low for PG Courses. But the reputation of the college plays a key role when you go for job hunting outside. And if you're in Mysore or anywhere in South Karnataka, SJCE and NIE are the most commonly uttered college names

The placement facilities are very good with average minimum 90% placement rate. One of the notable alumni is the founder of Infosys Mr Narayanmurty. Companies like Cisco, Goldman Sachs, Infosys, HCL, TCS, Microsoft, etc visit every year.

Infrastructure is highly developed. Integrated class room lots of labs (CSE/ISE/MECH) also have an AI lab seprate buildings for each branch atmosphere is quite good, spacious class rooms 100percent placement records one of the top colleges in Karnataka
