SSE has the perfect blend and balance between academics and co-curricular activities that gave me an afinity to choose this college. Furthermore, the teachers are extremely approachable and friendly which makes the learning experience multiple times better.

. The programme structure has balanced quant subjects which brings rigour in the course. You get a B. Sc. degree (not a B. A. ) and an Honours in Economics. Also if you compare the course subjects with any other popular university say Delhi University

It is one of the best colleges in the country, and then the curriculum is super interesting and they even teach up the different language even the clubs are very interesting, the campus has wifi, the campus has swimming pool, the infrastructure is really nice, there is even an anti-ragging committee

Remarks:
Symbiosis has been a renowned Institute for long. Also the course structure offered here is very well planned and not present in all the colleges. Another factor which drove me to choose this college was the kind of opportunities it provides in respect to interships, workshops and events. The motto of Symbiosis is "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam" which means that it's a place for students from all over the world.

Remarks:
It's very good for economics since it provides honours with the degree, and does its own research within the college in various aspects of economics. They not only promote research, but encourage extracurriculars just as much as academics. I opted for this course due to the level of expertise the course structure would provide me with in Economics.

Symbiosis provides a Bachelors of Science degree in economics which is amazing as only a few colleges provide that couse. Symbiosis is one of the best college in India. The couse is taught in dept and it also makes sure that students from all educational backgrounds are made comfortable. I opted for Bsc economics because the course includes statistics and math which is a great combination with economics and is very helpful for Economic analysis.

This is one of the few colleges where B.Sc. economics is offered, with honors. With a great faculty, this college is known for cohesive studies and practical approach. Although this college does not have a good base for co-curricular activities, a good network in Pune helps in realising all opportunities, if you're not study-oriented. The city has a lot of good colleges, so exposure to fest culture is immense without having to leave the city.

Remarks:
SSE has been ranked with 'A' grade by NAAC and it is one of the best colleges in India to do a Bachelor's in Economics. The course is rigorous which does not only focuses on doing good in academics, but also helps to develop software skills such as data analysis with excel, Python, R, etc. as well as professional skills. There are value-added courses every year excluding the compulsory subjects. Every semester, the students have 4-6 courses which help them to gain knowledge on related disciplines as well.

Symbiosis is among India's reputed colleges. Given the chance to study at this college was an opportunity for me to get better positioned for real world life. I wanted to pursue an economics career and my college offered the BSc Hons program in Economics that I was seeking.

My sibling has done the diploma in quantitative economics from Symbiosis School of Economics and has reviewed it as a good choice for a diploma. He mentioned the advantages and the disadvantages of Symbiosis as per his experience.
Advantages:
- After doing the one-year diploma from Symbiosis, the students enrolled in international universities for Masters.
- The course and the curriculum are quite good with the excellent faculty.
- Moreover, the faculty are very supportive and their training helps the students which is extremely impressive.
Disadvantages:
- The number of students in the class is less than 20 students.
- A total of 450 students have enrolled in undergraduate and a total of 100 students have enrolled in postgraduate.
- Thus, the diploma students are disadvantaged as the interaction and participation are quite low.
Overall, it is a good choice to do a diploma from Symbiosis School of Economics.
