First factor was the course itself. It is well structured and very rigorous. Second, the city of Pune. The city itself is enough reason for a student to go there. It is very student friendly city. Third, the campus location is in the center of the city. Fourth, the diversity in the university is really good for an individuals growth.

My main driving factor was the reputation of this college and when I consulted some acquaintances who were symbiosis alumni's, they also provided me with good feedback. The freedom in this college that students get is the thing I like the most. The course was a unique course when I opted for it, this course is not available in many universities in India and I always liked economics too.

Symbiosis is among India's reputed colleges. Given the chance to study at this college was an opportunity for me to get better positioned for real world life. I wanted to pursue an economics career and my college offered the BSc Hons program in Economics that I was seeking.

According to me, this is the best university as the quality of academics is high because of its rigorous and ever-changing curriculum. My focus is academic qualities at this point of time so that I can leverage this as a base forward.

I chose Symbiosis School of economics because of its vast curriculum and how it's a BSc.(hons.) Programme and because Symbiosis for one always have a good student crowd, all the students are chill and learned

Remarks:
I have chosen this course because marketing is a good field with a high success rate. I am comfortable in this field as it brings the best out of me. Fests conducted here are good, and we have sports and cultural fest separately, which is of 3 days each. Our campus is alcohol and smoke-free zone.

it could be any other university with equivalent training and exposure that symbiosis provides - the plus factor of symbiosis is rigorous screening prior admission to assess the potential of student to accept training given - that includes live exposures in every course it has and freedom to pursue other interests other than the main curriculum plus interface with industry and global universities

Placement Experience:
Placements over the last few years have been quite decent in terms of salary packages offered. Placements are ensured by the very active placement cell of the college striving for results consistently. Not only placements, but the college also works towards providing internships to students who are completing their second year.

It is actually a good college to pursue economics for the reason that it has a good faculty that is too friendly and the course is so designed that you will come to know a lot about the world and academics after 3 years of life at SSE ( if you ever get enrolled).

My sibling has done the diploma in quantitative economics from Symbiosis School of Economics and has reviewed it as a good choice for a diploma. He mentioned the advantages and the disadvantages of Symbiosis as per his experience.
Advantages:
- After doing the one-year diploma from Symbiosis, the students enrolled in international universities for Masters.
- The course and the curriculum are quite good with the excellent faculty.
- Moreover, the faculty are very supportive and their training helps the students which is extremely impressive.
Disadvantages:
- The number of students in the class is less than 20 students.
- A total of 450 students have enrolled in undergraduate and a total of 100 students have enrolled in postgraduate.
- Thus, the diploma students are disadvantaged as the interaction and participation are quite low.
Overall, it is a good choice to do a diploma from Symbiosis School of Economics.
