Jabalpur Engineering College is one of the oldest engineering colleges in India. It is a very prestigious College, and is recognised nationally. It is said to be the 3rd best engineering college in Madhya Pradesh after IIT Indore and MANIT Bhopal. It was the first College to introduce Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering in India, the first television of Asia and many other such historical devices are heritage of this college.

The college don't provide internship at its own. But you are lucky enough if it did. I have seen it giving interns to few students this year but not before that. It's making efforts for students but we can't really rely upon it. We have to work hard too. But it's infrastructure is not really sound and no efforts on infrastructure is made.

I have not experienced it yet at my college, tho I believe it might change a lot after this covid situation and as they say, placements will be cut by 50% for about two years there are going to be a lot of off campus selections.

I opted this college to peruse better in engineering and as it is most renovated college in Madhya Pradesh. This college has the better name in electrical and mechanical branches in Madhya Pradesh. So I have opted Electrical Engineering I. This college because I have more interest in electrical.

The financial status of the gene students is not good and the annual income of the students is less than 50000, they get scholarship under the scholarship scheme from our college. For which one has to apply online. By the process of dte counselling m.p.dte help to provide me with the best college of engineering.

Good Remarks- spread in total of 255 acres good place to hangout Bad Remark - buildings are old and are not mentained well

As it's a government college some hods with great political power may consider it as his own college it may affect student futures but this behavior is like all over the state.

Only one bad remark is the academic calendar. Our college should have a strict time bound academic calendar which they should follow as is will not pressurize the students to get their time bound internship and also higher studies admission process.

It's actually a good college for those people who want to do things by themselves and can find new ways and ideas by own and don't totally depends on the college for studies.

Positives - The college is a recognized and accredited college which exercises a partial autonomy and has a very vast network of influential alumni. Since established in 1947, has a very good reputation. Negatives - Unable to get modern infrastructure and is a place full of corruption. Least amount of transparency and accountability and a very irresponsible staff.
