Our college is controlled by the Kerala University, which has a well-structured exam format and pattern of questions and answers that we follow.
Collage has never provided any internships to students. Students dont know the method of getting internships, and they have to do internships at their own risk.
The placements were good 3-4 years ago, but they have been very good since 3 years ago.

Dislikes

The curriculum is very outdated, the academic facilities are poor, and only 20% of the faculty are permanent and knowledgeable across all departments; the rest are in name only.
In this matter, the college is not good at all due to the lack of proper governing bodies. They do not arrange any internship programs by themselves.
The average placement is decreasing every year, regardless of the branch you belong to. It is necessary to opt for the IT industry, which is disappointing.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose the course ECE(Electronics and Communication Engineering) because of higher study after the Bachelor of Engineering. Student ratio: Students are very good. A minimum of 60 students are present.

An honest review on UIT burdwan.

Likes

Teachers are really friendly and easy to approach.
They don't put lot of pressure on students.
Student council have a good hold of all the activities happening in the college premises, so there is no case of ragging in the college.

Dislikes

The infrastructure is poor and need proper maintenance
The administration work is a bit slower than one would expect
Even outside the college building, around the whole campus most things are damaged or not in proper maintenance but no one fixes it.

Placement Experience:

Only the students with good cgpa get good placements here while the average ones get average placements. I myself don't aim to get a placement here cause I'll be doing some higher studies after this course.

I like the teachers because they are helpful and friendly
I like the college location area because it's quiet peaceful

Dislikes

College campus is not properly maintained
College hostel are not too much good but you can stay here

Placement Experience:

College placements are excellent you can get a minimum of 1.8 lakh per year upto 25 LPA. You can get jobs in TCS, Byjus, Amazon, and other bootstrap companies. The highest package is off-campus 45 LPA and the lowest package is 1.2 LPA. 90% chance to get placement. After my degree, I want to go for MTech.

Likes

College campus is good for study and teachers are good.
Seniors are also very helpful and they organised class in free time.

Dislikes

Infrastructure is not much good. Govt take this college and rework it.
Teachers are not much helpful. They are help only their subject.

Placement Experience:

Not a good placement is conducted by this college. But 50-60 % of students are placed by the college. CSE, IT, and ECE students are given a good salary. I can go for off-campus placement or other govt job.

A good college with many flaws.

Likes

Campus of the college is full of grenery and a pond is present while entering so the overall scenery is good.
Faculty members are good with their behaviours.
Top packages for campus placements are good.

Dislikes

Average placements are not so promising as expected.
Classrooms and infrastructure are not as expected.
The campus is good but not well maintained .

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester student becomes eligible for campus placements, Infosys, HCL, etc. The highest package is 21 LPA and the average package is 6 LPA for the college. To find a job by campusing and to do better afterwards.

Likes

Competitive Enviroment, this teaches you want you wont get at private colleged
Guidance, the relationship between seniors ans Juniors is better
There is no ragging in our campus. You learn a lot from your friends

Dislikes

There is no maintainance of our campus and admisinistration is not that good.
Communication between different department is not present
Tech fest are not given any importance in the colleges. Holidays for internship are also not allowed here.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for campus placements. Companies like Infosys, hcl, and other service-based companies. There are rarely any product-based companies on campus. Some startup companies do arrive. Offers are made about in ratio 1:4. The highest packages are mostly from off-campus placements about 21lpa. I will look for a job after I have completed my BE

From 6th semester students are eligible for campus placement. TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, TCL, IOCL, etc visits at the time of interview and placement. Average salary 4.2 LPA and highest 22 LPA. Almost all students who don't want to do higher studies got placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is nice but some faculty members are not. Not many faculty are sincere and explain well but they can do it. The exams are a bit tough but they will come syllabus-wise only as the teachers only make paper

Overall a good government engineering college

Placement Experience:

Talking about the placements in this college, generally from the 7th semester onwards placements start taking place here. Companies like TCS do visit here for on-campus placement. Not all students get placed here, so the percentage of placement is disappointing. But, most CS and IT students get placed here.

COLLEGE REVIEW

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because It was my dream. Each department has a minimum of 7 faculty members and approx 70 students. Most are Ph.D. Teachers are very helpful. The exam level is so tough. It was very difficult to pass the exam.
