The faculty which is very helpful, kind , sweet and supporting
There are numbers of scholarship opportunities available for students .these scholarships recognised merit and talent for students .fee concession students in need of financial assistance may apply on the prescribed form available at the office.next one is student aid fund
Placements of the college is very good many top companies visit the campus for placements.

Dislikes

Class size was 55 which kind of made it difficult for teachers to provide individual attention. Students who opted for language hindi were more at loss as the reading material was a little difficult to access.
Thing I didn't like was the busy and hectic schedule. It restricted our participation in various other extra curricular activities and restricted us mostly to our course structure only
The campus being in South Delhi and no other college near it, sometimes feels isolated. There is no inter college connectivity.

Beauties of lsr

Likes

The thing I liked the most was that the environment of college. The social environment. People are really approachable.
The way our college campus stays evergreen. It's green all the time.
The annual package of our college is highest amount du colleges.

Dislikes

There is no ac in college campus except for Library.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is really good. It is also applicable in real world life . It gives practical knowledge more than theory one which is good thing . The difficulty of exam level is moderate. This curriculum is helpful in competitive exams too.

Magic of LSR

Likes

I really like the atmosphere there and the people at LSR the best one's. Everything there is so competative and positive at the same time. I really loved how people motivated each other and cheer for each other like anything.
I was really in love with the LSR's lawns and the variety of flowers it had. I mean it's beyond anything.

Dislikes

One thing I didn't like was the availability of the admins. They would literally delay everything and sometimes provide void information because of which others suffers and they don't even feel apologetic for their mistakes even.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of LSR is too tight and precise to be honest. Like in my course, we had 100s of practicals lined up every week and had regular lectures and our professors rarely took offs and they even used to take extra classes so that our course is finished on time. Their main aim was to prepare us for each and every thing.

Deep Study on LSR Campus

Likes

The campus and the infrastructure, the greenery that was known as "Mini Mughal Garden" also.
The seniors behaviour how they help and support the juniors and guide so calmly.
The environment that sets a vibe that this college is a Brand and it was seen in the campus.

Dislikes

They didn't have much opportunities or internships for history honors.
They didn't bring any celebrity to the college fest .
There was long gap between the lectures and it was totally time waste for us.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum was good as they providing the practical knowledge also along with theories. Some professors bring us to visit the monuments and museums also that our paper deal. Some improvement may be needed in teaching that more they should teach us through the field knowledge and experiments.

The annual fests and celebrations happenings through the year , which keep us entertained and energetic throughout the year.
The faculty which is very helpful, kind , sweet and supporting
The diversity that we experience here, and connect with people with several backgrounds a d regions. Which makes us feel even more inclusive

Dislikes

They do not call popular alumnas for student meet or conferences.
They do not call known and demanding people in fests.
They do not provide fair chance to everyone to be in societies only trained or highly skilled are taken . Those who are eager yo learn are disqualified in selection rounds . Only very few reach the society.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum for history honours is quite comprehensive and full fledged. I feel that the depth knowledge of every topics and subtopics is what influenced me to choose this course. As the code of history does gives u the knowledge of past but it also gives u the perspective of present scholars as well.
History curriculum is designed in such a way that ut give clarity of various things. However there's always a scope of improvement and here I would suggest to extend the time period to cover the curriculum as its quite burdensome to complete the syllabus of 3 core papers along side 4 other papers in juts 4 months. The exams are held smeestwise. Once in 5 months. However students must be given at least 6 months to cover the curriculum.

COLLEGE LAWNS: The lawns are best in the college surrounded by greenery.
Nescafe: The area near nescafe os best every jamming session or important event are held here.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of DU is well known it provide one of the best curriculum in India. For choosing course like B.COM (hons) I choose LSR because its curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive. The exposure is very different. This college provide interships and placements as well which attrcated me the most. also the academic pursuit is very excellent. This course include practical part as well. the exam parttern is like sem wise with gap of 6 months.

The reality of College Life

Likes

The faculties, socities and students of LSR.
The college campus is very beautiful and has lawns and gardens.
The college has very efficient infrastructure.

Dislikes

The college life is entirely based on academics.
The extra curricular activities of college is very low.
The class schedules are sometimes very tiring.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of college provides placements and internships for students with the average package of 5 lakhs. Amazon and Godrej are some of the companies who took students for their companies. From the 2nd year students can apply for placements. I am planning to do masters in Archaeology after finishing the course.

People and their ambitious interactions. Inclusivity provides by these engagements.libraries are also the best
The beauty of college including garden, infrastructure, trees, ponds and everything. The cleanliness they maintain is highly Appreciatable
Dogs and the care they get. College is very much engaged in taking care of the animals inside

Dislikes

Cancellation of class before 2-3 minutes
It's very hard to sit for one class in morning and other in evening

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell And department level Of Placement cell. We can apply In 2nd year For CV vetting and internship opportunities. 3rd year only they provide placement recruits and 0.5% students get placement with high packages. It should be noted most students prepare for competitive exams and is confined in nurturing that.

Brief account of LSR!

Likes

Academics. Well qualified professors. Academics is prioritised.
Campus. Very calm and soothing campus along with propper facilities.
Postive and friendly environment. people there being to help you always.

Dislikes

Infrastructure. Rooms are small which results in crowded classrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is revised and based upon New education policy. It offers holistic development. Along with the discipline subjects, one also get the opportunity to have a minor subject along with value added and skills specific subject. There is only one semester exam which happens at the end of semester. For internal assessment continuous assessment is taken during the whole semester.

Likes

Tarang, every LSR girl loves tarang so much. It's the best thing about being in college.
I love the campus as it's full of greenery and beautiful.
Friendly vibe of LSR. It's the best thing about it.

Dislikes

Faculty is a bit too strict sometimes. .
Network problem is also an issue there. .
Cafe's isn't too good but eatable. .

Placement Experience:

Eligibility for Placements starts from last year. The average annual package right now is 15 LPA. The highest placement got 48 LPA last year. 70%-90% students get placed on an average. Companies like McKinsey & Co, BCG, DE Shaw, Accenture, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Ficher Jordan, IPAC, Nation with Namo visits LSR for recruitment.

Faculty is very nice and knowlegable and due to less strength we can have direst connect with them also the exams are modrate for most of tye students but bit easy for those who had sanskrit till 12th
