LSR Delhi Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I m planning for going for teaching. After completing my graduation. In our college, our department is the most top department in getting placement opportunities. In our department min package start from 4 lakh to max. 26 to 36 lakh per annum.

Campus placement in Lsr is one of the major reasons why students choose lsr. The Highest package offered in 2021 is INR 37.8 LPA and the Average stood at INR 7.5 LPA and around 175 companies offered placement offers to 193 students. This number is enough to understand the brand value of lsr in the real corporate world. But not necessarily every student of lsr gets into this corporate world, same goes for higher education or some pursuing their passion for something but what is certain is that everyone will be doing something that they want to do, that they are truly passionate for. Maybe they are not sure of even after graduating but they'll figure it out soon because lsr taught us to never quit even when things may not work as what we want. It taught us to just keep moving for what gives us a sense of purpose. My plans also include doing something that matches my interests, skills, and passion. So won't be getting into this corporate world as of now.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the third year. Companies like Deutsche Bank, Urban Company, Amazon, HLU, DE Shaw, WIPRO, Bank of America etc visit the college. There are numerous profiles available from Marketing to finance, accounting to research. My plans after getting the degree is to appear for UPSC civil services exam.

Placements opportunities are good but they are very limited leading to hard competition among the students. There is no facility for training for interviews, unlike other colleges. According to a recent survey conducted by P-cell, there was almost no representation of low caste and class students in placements from college. I plan to pursue Master's but absolutely not from DU, maybe JNU or BHU.

From 2nd year you can apply for the placement opportunities provided by the college. There are many companies visited like airfreed, mamaearth, kaizan academy, etc. Around 40% of the students applied for the placements gets placed.

LSR has one of the best college placements for humanities courses. The highest package offered was of 37.8 lakh which is also the highest in DU and the average package offered is around 7-8 lakhs per annum. A good percentage of the students who applied for placements got placed in big companies like BCG, De Shaw, KPMG, etc with a handsome salary. The various profiles are offered by the companies but the profiles that really attract students are from consultation fields like junior analysts, research analysts, etc. Right now, I'm not sure about sitting for placements. But i'm planning for the same. After the degree, doing a full-time job is my first preference otherwise I'll just go for higher studies.

Students get eligible for the placements in their final year. Companies like EY, KPMG, BOA, byju, Hindustan Unilever limited, etc visited the campus. Almost 70% of final-year students get placed. The highest package offered in 2021 was 25 lpa Average package was of 8 lpa

Students become eligible for placements from their final years. Around 165 companies visited our campus to offer full-time positions and 193 students were placed last year. We invited industry giants like McKinsey & Company, Bain & Company, EY, DE Shaw, Accenture, Citibank among others to recruit our students for a variety of profiles and roles. The placement roles ranged from consultancy to banking and financial services, human resources, financial research to content writing. The highest Placement Offer in 2020-21 is INR 37.8 LPA.

During the final year, we can apply for placements. A proper set of rules and guidelines and the undertaking has to be signed by students. In the form, instructions are given. We have super-blue, blue companies. The packages are moderate.

Students start intership from 1 semester . And they start getting Intership till end of 2nd yr specially from summer internship Various companies like Hindustan Unilever, TCS, etc provides Intership opportunity. The highest package was in 2019 batch of 29 lakh. Average package is of 8-9 lakhs. But I am not planning for any placement as I will prepare for UPSC after the course.
