PMEC Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

At Parala Maharaja Engineering College, the eligibility for the students to sit on campus placement from the 6th semester. The companies that have visited our colleges are - Tata Consultancy Services, Accenture, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. The highest package is below 600000, we can't expect anything above. Placement is not that good. Almost 20-30% of the students have been employed every year. My plan is to start preparing for opsc entrance exam and my Aim is to be in civil engineering in an AEE post in the irrigation department.

The 6th and 7th-semester students are allowed for placement drives. Many companies come like Yudiz, Accenture, Tech Mahindra, Textron, etc. The highest paid package is 8lpa previously and 40 to 60 % of students get placed. After my degree, I will do MTech.

From 6th sem students become eligible for campus placement. Names of the same companies are Wipro, Infosys, Tata Motors etc The highest package is 1200000 per annum. And the average package is 800000 per annum. 75-80 per cent of students get placement. After getting my degree I want to do btech

From 7Th Sem Students Can Be Eligible For Campus Drives. They Have To Clear The Criteria That Is Made By Placement Cell. In Past, Companies Like Byju'S, Accenture,Jsw ,Infosys, Tcs Ewac Etc Have Come To Conduct Drive But The No Of Offers Are Very Less That Is 1-2 %. Highest Package In The History Is 11 Lakh/Year And Avg Is 3 Lakhs /Year. In Record The Number Of Students Got Placed Is 60-70% But In Reality It'S May Be Arround 30-50%. My Plans After Degree Is For Preparation Of Gate And Ies Exams.Beside That I Will Do Coding For My Knowledge.

Placements are good but renowned companies don't come for hiring. The companies that came here this year were startups. The avg package is around 6-7 lakhs whereas we can't expect anything above 9-10 lakhs.

I am interested in engineering so I picked engineering I had an interest in electrical machines and transformers so I choose this stream. our department has at least a 10:1 ratio of students and faculty. The faculty are highly qualified and well experienced. approximately 5 months for the term exam. The marking and grading are quite difficult and checking is strict.

Students in 4th year are only allowed to sit for placements. Companies that visit here are -Apmosys, Byjus, Vedantu, Tata, Wipro, and many more. Neither Google nor Microsoft. Don't think about these. You need to lower your expectations. Almost 80% of students get the placements.

Placements are not that much of good. Average placement. The scope is not that much of good. I need some more opportunities. There is no good placement from good companies. The placement is average. I just want some good opportunity.

Students are generally eligible from the 6th semester but get opportunities from only a few companies. Companies visited are TCS, Cognizant, Tata, Apmosys etc. The highest on-campus package offered till now is 9 lakhs per annum while the lowest offered is 2 lakhs per annum. Placement percentage is nearly 50%. I am planning to apply for interviews in any software company and get placed in any software company as a software engineer.
