Maitreyi College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

On our college campus, we have a placement cell that provides a lot of internships and also has a lot of companies in hand that bring us handsome packages. There's a growth in the placement from last year 71% of students have been placed in companies whereas most of the students chose to go for further studies and also we have a medium package of 4.5 LPA.

There is placement if you join the placement society, also it's specific for some courses like Bcom Bsc maths, it depends on the course and the company the pay scale also depends. Annually so many companies visit our college

The placements were good enough and the ratio of students getting placed is high as compared to other colleges. The highest package by Deloitte was 6LPA and the lowest is around 3LPA. The companies visited included big MNCs and good startups.

The course curriculum is designed for students for a comprehensive understanding. It includes practical as well as theoretical knowledge. I choose this course personally because I loved to study this subject and was also aware of the reputation of the college. Faculty students ratio is 1:15. Faculty have a PhD as their qualification. Their methods include group discussions and tutorials. Exams are held in the month of May and are fair and well-timed.

I have been an ardent maths lover so I chose this course. The faculty-to-student ratio is perfect and the faculty teaching are all PhD in their field and are experienced. The term exams happened every 6 months and were of moderate difficulty level.

Internships are mostly in the field of marketing and alot of them are unpaid however placement cell has now been dedicated to working on bringing more paid opportunities. Placement cell is very active in the job market, companies like pwc, EY and other big men's do come for recruitment but vacancies are very less

placements are quite good .The maitreyi college invites more than 50 company every year for recruiting every year more than 150 students.The college has placement record of aroung 72.72% as mentioned in the placement report of 2022-23

Our college offers placement on a half-yearly basis. And there's no specific semester for applying anyone can apply. Also companies like Maggie, and Panasonic visit for campus placement. I'm planning to pursue a master so I didn't apply for placement right away.

Companies that visited are DE SHAW, Microsoft, PWC, KPMG, and Deloitte and they offered a package of 10 LPA. Profile for Tech students, Businesses Administration, and also a percentage of students getting placement is 80 percent.

You become eligible for placement from the 3rd year. a total of 60% of the students get placed overall but in my course, only 25.79% of students got a job offer from different companies. Around 355+ no. of companies were on board for job opportunities. 70+ unique profiles were offered to the students. The highest Package was offered by Microsoft for 15 lakhs per annum and the average CTC ranges between 4-5 lakhs. some eye-catching companies were Vedantu, Urban Company, Deloitte, Mamaearth, HCL, Chegg, etc. My plan after college is to apply abroad for further study.
