The placements are offered only to the last year students. Around 70 companies participates in the placement drive which ends by selecting 150+ students from the college. The placement rate is low as compared to other top collegew but still gives the best opportunity to the students to grab their seats. Companies that arrive during placement drive are Infosys, Wipro, decathlon and many more Highest package may vary from 6-9 lakh whereas the lowest my vary from 2.5-4 lakhs

The placement opportunities are given to the last year students only. The placement rates are not very high on the college campus. 20-30% of the students get placement through the college drive. The highest package goes to 6LPA whereas the lowest one is 2.5 LPA. More than 60 companies participate in the placement drive, leading to the selection of around 150+ students. Companies like Wipro, Decathlon, Infosys visit the company for the placements. My plans after the degree are to get into the Indian armed forces as an officer.

Okay, so most teachers are perfect there except for a few. They're so dedicated and pay attention to almost all students and make sure the things are getting inside their brain (obviously in physical classes but they try to do the same in online classes as well). And there are 2-semester exams each year (I.e., 6-semester exams for the entire graduation). Each semester exam includes an internal exam where we have to perform practicals, submit assignments, give viva, and maintain our practical file and a theory exam where we need to write 6 question's answers that have multiple parts in 3 hours (in the online mode we're given 4 questions and 3 hours of submission time). It is not that tough to pass an exam, I passed my 2 subjects of the first semester by studying the night before. But if you want to score good you'll need to study more.

Placements are the average type for students of science stream because of limited job opportunities after bsc but if we work hard in our academics and also do few internships then chances of placements will be better. You'll get many internship opportunities throughout your course duration that will help you to build a great career.

The placement cell of maitreyi college, university of Delhi is good. If we talking about the eligibility criteria and from which year students become eligible for campus placement so it is from the third year onwards. From the starting of the third year students become eligible for campus placement. The placement cell of Maitreyi providing placement and internship opportunities very well. many of the students got high salary packages from high reputed companies. The placement cell is mainly providing a high number of placements for commerce and art students. The qualifying percentage of students getting placement is only 6.5 CGPA. Many highly reputed and successful companies arrive at my college. Students also got high salary packages. Students only get 3 chances for filling application forms of three different companies. No more chances are given by that. So students have to fill the form properly and thoughtfully. There are tier round A B and C and there is division according to this

I chose this course because from the 11th standard itself I have been the topper of my class in Sociology. I find it so exciting and interesting to know about the main part of our lives, the reason for our behavioral patterns, i.e. SOCIETY. Apart from this, I'm also very interested in doing social work. Talking about the faculty of my college, is satisfying. I'll not say it is up to the mark and we don't face any problems. Sometimes we do, but then the faculty is not very irresponsible and quite satisfactory. The faculty is undoubtedly well-qualified and the teaching method is not the same for all teachers. It depends from teacher to teacher. Some teachers just read and explain which I find boring. Whereas some teachers take studies in a practical way, some present videos to make us understand, some keep the class more prone to the discussion, these are some teaching methods I love. If you study hard, nothing is difficult. I studied for my OBE (in online mode) and it went quite well.

In third-year students are eligible for placement opportunities, however they can join placement cell during any year. Companies like EY,deloitte, byjus are few among the many companies that come for placements. Average placemnt package is 2.5 to 5 lakhs. Highest package was of 8 lakh this year. I will be opting for higher studies after graduation.

After 4th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Some of the really high profiled companies reach out to Maitreyi College for placements. The package at Maitreyi College is decent. Not really high and not very down but the package over is average.

I was in B. A (programme) where Economics and English were my majors, 30-35 students were in one session. I choose this course as I did not want a simple BA while BA Programme enables us with choosing two disciplines and other subjects of our own will. The classrooms were more than enough and airy. Every professor of mine had a Doctorate. The exams were not very difficult but like any exam, they demanded sweat and hard work.

All years students are eligible for almost every internship mainly non stipend. the average package is 5-6 lakhs per annum. I want to do MSc in the forensic field. The minimum cgpa required is 6 for placement.
