Likes

The faculty are good their interaction with students are awesome they are friendly
Students scoring well in cet were rewarded and along with that those who do well every year are also rewarded with 20-30% scholarships.
Placement are nice, the college brings enough companies and the average package is 6 - 7 lpa, not bad

Dislikes

Professors are rude, they will trouble you if you don't get along. Parking facilities gets very congested during working days.
No group activities. No ventilation in some of the buildings. No course related training from the first year. Less number of group activities that affects communication among students.
Some internal fights between students, regular fights will be there.

All about DSCE as a fresher

Likes

The college has very good infrastructure and the campus is fully lush green campus connected to the main city because it is very close to the metro station. The campus has many labs auditoriums and other halls with good infrastructure.
As there are many clubs and competitions held in almost every coming day we have very good exposure to society. All the clubs function very nicely and are always active
The faculties are very good and interactive to with students they clarify doubts after the class.

Dislikes

As the hostel is more it may be not affordable for many students
The minimum attendance required will be 85%. Because of which students may feel bored to go to college everyday
The classes will be held even till evening 5 O'Clock some days which makes the day very hectic

Placement Experience:

Replacements are offered by college itself the average packages around 8 to 9 lpa highest package of 2024 is 56 lpa. The placements are offered by college itself. it has good placement offers. There is also motivation for startup for students.

This college is huge and there many other courses like BBA, arts, dental, not only engineering.
This college has many clubs and all the clubs are good to build memories by working over night before the feat
All the faculties are PhD holders so the teaching is good

There are many companies that will come to our college for placement and almost 70 to 80 percent people will get placed. Avg placement package is 6 lpa we can say . And the highest package for last year was 51 pla

The thing i liked about my college is the campus size. The campus is really huge
Another thing i like about my college is the clubs . The clubs here is very active there is club for each and every things
The popularity of college .The college is in 4th position

Dislikes

The thing i dislike about college is the college building .The buildings and clasrooms are of old fashioned
The next thing i dislike about college is the placements
placements are not so good. Not very good. It is decreasing yearly.

Placement Experience:

The placement in thiss college is decent . The average placement of the college is 9lpa which varies fromm branch to branch. The branch like cse has an average of high placemetn and the branch like mechanivll and civil has slighllty low placement

Campus Life 8/10 Campus is full of nature friendly you will love it.
Faculty 6/10 Here majorly IEE and IOT teacher are bad they do partiality alot.
Infrastructure 8/10 infra is good you will like it.

Dislikes

Here IOT and IEE teachers are not that good they do partiality alot.
Course curriculum 8/10 basic programming languages you will learn.
Placement in every department is good except core branches

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester companies starts coming in our college 1) Majorly startups and service product based companies visit our college eg Cognizant. 2) Highest package of DSCE for 2024 is 53LPA was grabbed by ISE student. 3) 80% student get placement every year.

Truths of DSCE

Likes

the labs are quite very much good and well maintained.
Teachers are supportive and clears all the doubt.
Faculty are always available in the staff room (if students need their help).

Dislikes

The pressure they put on the student through out the cource.
No proper intimations are given to the students for any events happening arrond the college.
There are no proper gaps given between the semesters and the time given for each semester are very less (3 months).

Placement Experience:

The main reason to get into this college was that this college provides a good placement for the students and many companies come to this college as this college has a good name in Bangalore and the students placed are higher in this college than any other college. But as I am in 3rd year now I can't say if its is really what is shown in the website and in Market.

The infrastructure of the collage is too good

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is good and is made according to current market. But still some improvements need to be done like induction of topic like artificial intelligence in the curriculum . Overall the course is good.

Life of my college

Likes

Our college infrastructure is literally very good. Football ground , basketball court , labs with modern technology everything is available.
Our college has active placement cell which helps students to guide and prepare them for interviews.
Most faculties members are very experienced and knowledgeable and are always available to help us.

Dislikes

Our attendance policy is very strict compare to other colleges.
There's biasedness towards non Karnataka in the college.
Non flexible curriculum . Every month we have to give internal exams which gives us very less time to learn skills.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our curriculum has been improved from last 3-4 years. I have to say it is made according to today's market. But still some improvement needs to be done in course like induction of topics like Artificial intelligence should be made.

Truth of DSCE

Likes

The Campus of the college is full of greenery and it is built on a hill so it makes it more beautiful.
The crowd and the seniors of the college are very good and helpful and the alumni is vastly spread.
The Placement Rate of the college is very good with 96%.

Dislikes

There is some biasness for the local people you might have problem if you are from North.
The attendance policy which is minimum 85% if you have valid reasons then and proof then 75%.
The dress code that boys should wear a shirt or a tshirt with collar.

The placement rate is very good that is 96%. Student is eligible for the interview in the 4th year after the 1st sem exam ans before 2nd sem exam. Many Companies come to college some are TCS, Wipro, Cognizat, Accenture, JP Morgan etc.

The college has a really great campus and looks really beautiful during night.
The college departments are very good and they have appropriate infrastructure .
The teachers are really great and are Helpful.

Dislikes

The college doesn't have a badminton court .
The food here is not very good but as compared to other colleges it's decent .
Sometimes you feel very tired as classes go on till 5 in the evening and it's very tiring.

Placement Experience:

The placements of my college as of i know it's decent .The Average package of CS related branches is around 10 lakhs. Students of 7th semester get eligible for placements. The various companies that visit for placent are AMD, Google microsoft, Phonpe, Hitachi ,Mindtek ,HCL Etc. I am planning to get a good placement.

DSCE - Decent from outside, Living Hell from inside

Girls to boys ratio was pretty good as compared to other engineering college.
The campus looks beautiful from outside. Lots of trees and greenery inside the campus.
The placement department worked tirelessly to bring good companies at very good package.

Dislikes

Except few, most of the faculties were cluesless and with no compassion for student, made our life living hell. Their teaching method was just using a ppt and reading it asking you to take notes.
The curriculum is not designed to make good engineers. It is designed for students to just mug up and write the answers. The curriculum was extremely irrelevant to this generation.
The faculties and staff were extremely rude and arrogant. Instead of mentoring the students they just burdened us with assignments and internals every month. They made our life hell.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for Campus placements from the seventh semester. Various mass recruiters such as Accenture, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini recruited students in good number with very low package of 3.5lpa. Highest package offered was 42lpa in CS dept. but that was offcampus. On campus the Highest package was 28lpa. Average package for CS, IT, ECE would be around 7lpa and for entire college it would be around 4lpa. Almost 90% students get placed from CS, IT, ECE (IT companies, No core job) but for the other branches this no. Is very less. You shouldn't even think about this college if you don't get these three branches. One good thing is the placement department. They worked tirelessly to bring good companies and tried their best so the student can get the best salary. Even I am working as a software development in a big MNC but I give no credit to the faculties as I had to prepare and learn everything on my own which everyone around me did. If you depend on college for that you won't even get a job.
