ARSD College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

For internships, any student if get can join, but for placements generally, third year student is eligible to take part in it. Companies like Infosys visit the campus for recruiting process. The average package was around 3 LPA. Generally, placements are for Commerce students. I am preparing to go for masters after the graduation degree. The percentage of students getting placed is not good. Only a few students are placed.

This college is one of the bests in DU, with NIRF ranking 14. I opted for this college as it's one of the best for my stream (B.sc(H)physics). The campus is average (Greater then many of the colleges in south campus and DU) with area for the sports activity. Food is canteen is not that good but you need not worry as the college is the South campus and you have satya niketen market Just 3-4 minutes far. Also, if you ask about the faculty, i don't know about the other courses but mine had some great, Highly educated faculty, almost everyone with a PHD. But don't forget, This the college of university of Delhi, and it is incomplete without the strikes. You'll experience strikes throughout your college life and due to which you may get manifold holidays, which some might use for completing their studies or to explore Delhi with your friends. All in all, it is great college to go to, with reasonable fee.

Our college placement is average. Not every student get placed and also not good companies come to our college with good package for placement but in some years our college will improve a lot in college placement. Those who get placement have packages around 2-3 lakh per annum, so I suggests you that if you looking for a college placement then this college is not for you but if you want to enjoy college life and be a part of beautiful journey of college then you are most welcome to our college.

Even from 2nd semester opportunities are open , many webinar are organized for direct placement of young talent ,even College itself has its own placement team to bring big companies in College campus . Many companies like LIC, TATA, HCL many more visit here.

This college has maintained a very good ranking for past three consecutive years. It has been named 14th best college in India by the NIRF Rankings for the year 2020. The teachers are very friendly and co-opertaive. The college is situated near dhaula kuan bus stand and is at walking distance from Durgabai Deshmukh South Campus Metro Station. Thus, it can be reached easily. Being, in the south campus, it is in close affinity with many other colleges. P.G. accomodations are available near the college. The college is located near Satya Niketan which is the hub of cafes, eateries and many more amenities like stationary shops, book stores and departmentall stores.

The campus placements are good students get it from the 5th semester. Alot of well-known companies come to our college. But generally, placements are for commerce students and the package offered is around 4-5 LPA.

I didn't see there any placement in BSc Maths there is maybe in MSc but I didn't have any idea about that. I think I'll continue my studies in maths I'm doing MSc form maths and I'm thinking abt PhD too from Maths.

From last semester onwards one is eligible for campus placement. The placement cell of ARSD college is one of the most active cells of Delhi University. Companies like Amazon, KPMG, and many other similar visits for campus placement. The highest package for B.Com Honours was around 7-8 lacks for annual.

The reputation and the college is good. its quite obvious that most of the students prefer Du to other open universities. the college is near from my home and it is easy to reach there. also i was getting desired course.

You are Eligible to Apply for Placement from 1st year also. But it is more good for 3rd year students. You can apply for various internship programs also.
