Every year our college held internship fair which help students to grow and big companies recruiter also come to our college to give the placement opportunities to students.
Another thing that i liked is the financial affordability and the aids that the college is offering to the students who are not financially sound
Academics is great in my college. my college have best faculty of professor with great experience and knowledge

Dislikes

Placement - the rate of placement is low as compared toh other colleges
Most of the times the classes get cancelled by the teachers which causes discomfort for many students
The fees are quite affordable but still, it becomes a little difficult to afford for the students of very low academic economic backgrounds.

The college faculty is best and teachers provide mentorship also to all students
My engagement with college life is very good here campus is nice

Course Curriculum Overview:

The specific aspect of choose this course is my interest. Because this course Is available in only three colleges of Du so in this college the industrial chemistry course is very good and top and Du also.The curriculum prepare us through the assignments projects and walks social works through these we develop our skills and develop applications for the real world The exam timings is very timely and the provide good notes and assignments projects and applications for the exam so students clear their exams many students also feel good in this college I think

Thing is liked the entry is very big on main road which is good also the commrece department seperate is good
Sports facilities and good faculty is what I like a lot

Dislikes

The main dislike is the Not made of auditorium which disadvantage of any function which is held is not done properly if Auditorium there there can be a lot of help

The curriculum is good like ba program can bee taken by those who is seeing there future in UPSC feildnit is quite helpful for those But mainly in subject like history and pol sci they need to improbe more practically study not the old text book study which is quite boring nower days

ARSD,DU AN OVERVIEW OF NIRF 5TH COLLAGE

My collage ARSD is one of the best collages I'm south campus it has large entrance on the main road which make it easy accessibility to students who come by Bus and metro the collage provide vast infrastructure which can be seen in the campus good .
It provide all major department and labs which should be there in the collage Computer lab, library,E library, Chemistry lab, boys common room,Big play ground , it has a seperate commerce department for commerce students which is a unique thing good.
All sports facilities are there in the collage it provides 2 volleyball courts, badminton court, cricket and football fields, basketball court, NCC cadets pratice is also regular there for both girls and boys, there are various society which are acti

Dislikes

There is less thing which I dislike about this collage because there are all facilities which are required to students for their academic growths
There is no Auditorium in this vast collage this is the only major disadvantage I feel that there should atleast one auditorium in the collage where event can be done as there is space but the development is not there work is stuck
There was no girl NCC in this collage but from this year it has been started so this is good point previous ly it was counted as disadvantage but now recently it was opened

Course Curriculum Overview:

Specific aspects of curriculum is that. Mainly UPSC aspirants only take up this course BA PROGRAM which is helpful them in future improvement should be done in the sector which make subject like history Pol sci look more practical not textbook subjects only the difficulty level in exam is not much as most syllabus is extend version of ur 12th standard subject only

Likes

The campus area and the experienced faculty
Cleanliness and hygiene friendly environment
The friendly behaviour of staff and seniors

Canteen food due to hygiene issues and cleanliness
Attendance issues in teachers cancellation of classes
Poor wifi and internet connection in classrooms

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is well acknowledged according to the current job market needs like artificial intelligence and skills on computer. Coding is definately an integral need in today's modern society which is a updated part of curriculum.

ARSD: Better or Best

Likes

Experienced and cooperative faculty members
Clean and peaceful College campus along with beautiful lawn
College provide various kinds of opportunities by arranging various seminars on regular basis

Dislikes

College situated in over populated area on the highway
Hostel facility is not available and nearby accommodations are bit expensive
Food quality in the canteen is not up to the mark

Placement Experience:

Arsd college provide some placements to its students. The average package for UG courses is around 5 to 6 lpa. Some of the famous recruiter include big 4 like KPMG ,deloit, EY, PWC etc and many more companies.

College is good campus is good infrastructure is also good
Faculty is nice supportive and knowledgeable and teach with good methods
There are many societies in college the placement cell is also there and it's actively proforming it's tasks

Dislikes

Like as the college ranks NIRF 5 it's not that much quality of fifth ranking college but it's good
Some of the classroom are very small in size that the class cancel not be conducted smoothly
Students are not given proper knowledge about subject selection and exam form filling

Course Curriculum Overview:

While admission in DU you have to fill preference list as there is no particular selection of course it is given to you accordingly to preference list and cuet score of students. Academics along with experience make man ready for real world if a student do internships in course it will be better

My Time at ARSD : Pros and Cons

Atma Ram Sanatan Dharma College is so reputed college in Delhi University and in 2024 he has got 5th ranking in nirf which certifies that its very good college to pursue graduation on National level.
It lies in main South campus which we also referred to Satya Niketan it has a very great connectivity with other Delhi University colleges like Motilal Nehru College, Ramlal Anand College, Aryabhatta college and Sri Venkateswara College.
It has a very beautiful college campus and it is ranked in top Delhi University colleges in consideration of infrastructure and there are many cultural societies and extra curricular activities for students to improve their overall personality.

Dislikes

Some courses in this college are so overcrowded like in B.A Program there are 183 students and this maybe a concerning issue for students who are introvert as this may make it difficult for them to get into extra curricular activities. Bhai
Being a south campus college competition in this college is so high that in commerce courses its cutoff even beat some North campus colleges.
As it lies in main South campus there is parking problem for all students as college doesn't provide parking space to students of this college and the it is very difficult and unsafe to park your vehicle outside college campus.

Eligibility criteria for registering in placement cell is as below:- 1. Minimum 50% marks in aggregate (Some companies may require 60% or higher marks in aggregate) 2. Minimum 75% attendance in classes 3. No disciplinary action against the student 4. Students in final year or pre-final year are eligible 5. No pending Backlogs or supplementary exams And the placement process is as below:- 1. Students should register for placement through the college placement cell. 2. Companies will shortlist students on the basis of their resumes they have submitted 3. Some companies may conduct online or offline aptitude tests. 4. Students should participate in group discussion to assess communication and teamwork skills Many companies from all over the world come to this college for placement like Deloitte, KPMG, Infosys, Wipro, HDFC Bank, TCS, IBM, PwC, Ernst & Young and Accenture etc. The average salary a student gets is around 5lpa and maximum salary a student got is 12-13lpa

Arsd college : where heart lies

Likes

The infrastructure of the college is nice , the ground of the college tha classes are very nice and spacious
Food of the college is tasty and Nescafe has a parlour which serves delicious food .
Teachers and friendly and helpful and the senior are nice

Dislikes

The classmates don't talk to new student
The canteen is unhygienic , the behaviour of canteen staff is rude
No network in the campus the speed of internet is very slow

Placement Experience:

The placement percentage is good but it depends on the skill of student , many companies visit college for placement but in the end the number of students getting placed is low as compared to colleges of North campus . The highest package is 20 lakh and average package is 5 lakh , 5% to 10% students get placed .

A good explanation of my college

Likes

In my college there is a specific room for boys and girls which we call bcr and gcr and they are both very spacious room and in both the rooms there are ac for students .
Second thing I like is college library , it has good ac and good wifi speed and many books are available of every subject you want to read .
And third thing I like about my college is teaching faculty in my course my teaching faculty is good they watch the kids to solve questions and then move on to next topic.

Dislikes

The first thing I dislike about my college is teaching faculty is that they just come and go, they don't care that if student are understanding or not but not all teacher are like that .
Second thing I hate about my college is college office , whenever we go to office for anything maximum of the time teacher will not be present their.
In my college there are no specific rooms for college society so it get difficult for the college society to do anything .

Course Curriculum Overview:

My course name is bsc physical science with computer science in which I have to study three core subject and 4 extra subject . My amin three core subject are physics, maths , computer science. And 4 extra subject are sex,vac,Ge,Aec. If I will compare my course to computer hons it is not good. But who were not able to get hons come to this course and it is a good course for future , if someone wants to do master he or she can do in the subject he has studied , you can get placement from this course as well beacuse it has computer science. I get to know about his course by my school physics teacher .the time for exams are enough and the difficulty level is easy for those who has prepared for any entrance exam .

The sports facilities it provide like basketball and table tennis that I play here
The greenery across its campus that have a great view.
Have great computer labs and electronics lab

Dislikes

The physics labs have old equipment which lead to much time consumption.
Old computer lab have slow system but still workable.
The library's timing is limited by 5 pm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Main reason was to complete graduation with field that peeks my interest computer science. It lead us to take up forward education to wide varities of field in Post Graduation. The examination are ith lineant gaps and with opting practical subjects for SEC and VAC lead to just few core examination.
