What Facilities are provided in PGGC ?

Library is the most wonderful thing in this college, fully air conditioned with the ease to find books through the help of a screen installed.Sports infrastructure are amazing as there is a superb sports complex built with track and field events and a huge playground, gym, tennis court, basketball court etc. The students can go to the canteen which is very affordable.Labs are pretty much new and the professional studies one is completely new since Practicals are key elements in this college.

Does PGGC provide Hostel Facility to its students?

There are three hostels in this PGGC New Hostel for Girls and Main Hostel for Boys at the College Campus and General Hostel for Boys in Sector 15 B where the students are offered residential accommodation in the best possible living environment. Spacious rooms allotted on twin sharing basis furnished with Two beds, Study table, Two chairs and Wardrobes.There is a cozy TV/Music room in the hostel to unwind after a hectic day in the college including Indoor games.The hostels have a huge multi-purpose common room which is used for interactive session. This hall/room doubles up as the study room where students study together in large groups. There is a library corner in this room which is very useful to the students.

Placement Experience:

The students can sit for placements in their final year of course. The tricity based companies come for campus placements for jobs that need strong communication skills and basic knowledge of their domain. The maximum package that was offered goes up to 5 LPA, and the average packages are lower than this arounf 3 LPA. I wanted to go for Post Graduation so did not opt for campus placement.

There is a placement cell but I do not have much information about it, as my course does not offer any placements, but there are other courses such as BCA, BCom and BSc CS which offers placement, according to me it must be around 30k to 40k per month

The Best Life of PGGC-11

Obviously the placements are offered in the final year but due to the NEP 2020. Various interships are provided to the students of even first year ones. Companies like Airtel, Amazon India, BYJU's, HCL, IBM, Infosys, Wipro, etc have offered placements to the students in their companies. The average package students can expect is around 2-3 lakhs per annum and the highest package would be around 10-15 lakhs. The percentage of students getting placements varies from 5-7% only.

Many companies visit our college like tata,Mahindra, Deloitte etc Highest package was received by a m com student around 22-24 lakhs per annum and average package is around 7-8 lakhs

From fifth or sixth semester student to become eligible for campus placement companies that visited my collage are wipro infosys relaince etc etc . highest package per company profiles offered is 30 to 35 lakh but which is best for an average student working. placements dependent on the student skills is in internships, board marks ,college performance, placement test and interview

Students are eligible for campus placement when they are in 3rd year or 5-6 sem Many top companies like TCS, wipro visited here. The maximum average package is 5 lpa Student must get above 60% to just participate in placement. And there is very chance that student get a job approx 15% will get admission

After the 5th semester students are eligible for pre-placement. Many reputed companies are visited and make the best offer for the students. 9-10 lakh maximum 4-5 lakh minimum 70-80 per cent required for placement.

From 6th sem students become eligible for campus placements Only EY visited campus and I guess 5-10 offers were made. the highest package was around 360000 per annum 5 to 7 percent of students were placed I plan to pursue CA
