To be eligible for a hostel room the candidates must have been admitted to the SRCC. The final allotments of rooms at SRCC hostels are purely on the merit of the marks obtained in the Qualifying marks.

What are the Cancellation Charges of SRCC?

If the admission of any Students is withdrawn the students must Cancel their hostel admission the students will get a refund amount of INR 5,000 after deduction from the total fees paid by Candidates. However, actual mess expenses, electricity, and water expenses are to be paid by candidates.

Merit & need-based scholarships like [your scholarship name] & financial aid exist to help.
The faculty is completely qualified with a lot of experience and expertise , has really good teaching skills, clears all the doubts and interacts with the students, is gentle and friendly with the students.
Srcc has like the best placement's in the whole of du best companies hishest-35 lpa average -10-12 lpa package i don't really plan to take the placements and go for higher eduaction for mba or data science

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not great as we thought and its not good as compare to the colleges like iit and iims
Hostel seats are limited. many students have to opt for pgs
Unavailability of lack of hostel facilities is a point of difficulty for me since a major part of my time is spent travelling to and from the college.

I like my college infrastructure especially the clock tower.
Being in SRCC itself feels like an accomplishment for many for us because it provides us with many opportunities.

Dislikes

Our campus is a bit small and seating capacity could be increased .

Placement Experience:

On campus Placements are offered to 3rd year students and mostly the placement season starts from the end of semester 5th. There are various companies that come for the placement purpose like Big 4s, big MNCs etc. Highest package for last year was around 35lakh and average package is 10-11lakhs.

SRCC is a paradise!!

Faculties of SRCC are so wonderful that even studies aside they help us get the real career guidance too.
At SRCC one thing which deserves a standing ovation is definitely the seniors as they are so amazing and always help us reach the best society and learn as much as we can through them.
Probably we are the only DU college that has a proper sports complex with multiple sports.

Dislikes

Students are allowed to choose societies in the first year itself as otherwise they are not allowed to join societies.

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

SRCC is arguably the best commerce college!!

No one can deny the fact that SRCC is best college to study Commerce in India.
Many students of here also prepare for CAT alongside pursuing graduation and also enters IIMs.
Ar SRCC you cannot sit idle as there are a lot of activities and assignments to be done in each semester.

Dislikes

In last few years other DU colleges has rose high and SRCC has lost some of its glory.

SRCC has one of the best campuses and our basketball court is so famous that many movies too have been promoted and shot there. Our campus is big too and our auditorium is such that many top personalities have come and spoken there. Even leaders like Barrack Obama too had an interaction with SRCC students in an open air event.

SRCC is not just superb but upper than that!!

Likes

SRCC is indeed some of top college and many top alumni of country have passed out from this college.
At SRCC campus even Entrepreneurship cell exists and they teaches us how to create jobs and how to raise funds and all.
Even B.Com Hons from here is as good as engineering from top college as it brings that kind of value to the table.

Dislikes

Attendance is not even considered even if we are representing college at any event apart from sports.

there should be more seats in the college hostels

Course Curriculum Overview:

Srcc follow the same curriculum that is being followed througout the du and it is outdated the nep has made the curriculum totally irreverent . but the most important thing that force student to choose srcc is the brand value not the actual curriculam . the same topics are being taught that has being taught from decades there is a clear mismatch between the current curriculum and industry standards .

Do SRCC worth the Hype? - Review by a student

I like the environment in which our college is like it has every facility from xerox shop to juice, from rickshaw to nearest metro station.In our college there is ample amount of greenery as well.
It have different culture and background student which allows us to experience diversity.
It organizes different fests and events during the whole year

Dislikes

I don't like the queue for taking the admit cards
Sometimes the college wi-fi does not work
The non- functioning of clock of SRCC's clock tower

Placement Experience:

As soon the third year starts, the companies starts visiting with offers for campus placemets in our college.It consists very big companies like Bain, Accenture, Nation eith Namo, etc. According to 2024 data, more than 500 offers made by companies to students with highest package of 36 lakh and average of 8 lakh and about 50-60 % student get placed.

SRCC - A Dream Commerce college of every Student

The college has a good canteen provide variety of foods including South Indian and North Indian. There is also canteen for differentiable student in the college.
The college also provide free Wi-Fi facility in the campus which is very good. There is also photocopy shop in the college which photostat at very low cost
The most important thing that we like about our colleges are rest of the college crossroad which is known for its fame. The placement cell of associated also so much good with everything of 11 to 12 lakh.

Dislikes

The management of the college was not so good. The college has their own app which is known smartprof SRCC which is not working most of the time
The faculty of the college was not so much good as compared to the hype of the college. Most of the teacher take leave frequently and didn't even tell
Gym Equipment of the college was old and charge a piece of 350 for gym which is additional than college annual fees.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I think the curriculum of the course was very relevant and every semester you have to learn lot of things practically. In every semester you have boat practical examinations and theoretical examination and practical examination. The practicals examination consists of subjects such as income tax ,financial management business mathematics and company accounting. Even the companies which are come in placement cells are also looking for the practicals examinations of the subject that we all ready done in our curriculum. Introduction new new education policy also unable us to lot of things in other than practical and theory examination such as yoga, sport and other things in the form of SEC ,DSE,AECCsubject

The air conditioned and heater included rooms provide you a completely different motivation to go to college (even for early morning classes)
Placements - how can somebody forget that. I am placed for D.E. Shaw Group (one of my dream companies) and all the credit goes to SR.
Several opportunities that you get, the brand recognition that you get when you are a part of Asia's best commerce college

Dislikes

The infrastructure is a bit debatable topic as several times, we feel that college has given admission to kore students than it can accomodate in the campus.

Placement Experience:

The students of final year are eligible for placements. A lot of companies visit SRCC.Numbers of offers are not same every year but we can take an average of 500-600 offers every year. The companies range in different areas.Most prominent among them are Finance, Consulting, Strategy. Few of the companies that visit regularly are: Nomura, Morgan Stanley, D.E. Shaw, HSBC etc.

The facilities provided are one of the best in kind from Centralised Aur conditioners to projectors there were always improvements in the infrastructure
The classmates are very competent in a whole lot of various aspects which will expose you to various fields which you were unaware about before
The committees are in abundance hence every person could find fields that interest them and could find alot of exposure through the same

Dislikes

There were few instances where the faculty felt incompetent or not in line with the topic which was dealt to them
Few committees were preferred by some teachers while others were neglected hence there was some partiality regarding the same
There was alot of instances of loops in management this leading to very slow administrative work and approvals

The people are really brilliant and sharp.
The faculty is awesome. Teachers who are authors of various books teach at SRCC.
Auditorium is superb. Many events take place there.

Dislikes

The college is highly competitive which makes it stressful
The infrastructure is not adequate according to the students admitted.
The college society interviews are really hectic.

The placement is decent. The average package of the college is 12LPA. The highest one going around 35LPA. But a thing to be kept in mind is that all these numbers are for the people who have a very strong CV
