To be eligible for a hostel room the candidates must have been admitted to the SRCC. The final allotments of rooms at SRCC hostels are purely on the merit of the marks obtained in the Qualifying marks.

If the admission of any Students is withdrawn the students must Cancel their hostel admission the students will get a refund amount of INR 5,000 after deduction from the total fees paid by Candidates. However, actual mess expenses, electricity, and water expenses are to be paid by candidates.

Merit & need-based scholarships like [your scholarship name] & financial aid exist to help.
The faculty is completely qualified with a lot of experience and expertise , has really good teaching skills, clears all the doubts and interacts with the students, is gentle and friendly with the students.
Srcc has like the best placement's in the whole of du best companies hishest-35 lpa average -10-12 lpa package i don't really plan to take the placements and go for higher eduaction for mba or data science

Dislikes

The hostel facilities are not great as we thought and its not good as compare to the colleges like iit and iims
Hostel seats are limited. many students have to opt for pgs
Unavailability of lack of hostel facilities is a point of difficulty for me since a major part of my time is spent travelling to and from the college.

SRCC teaches us how to cope struggle!!

Likes

Every interest is catered through college societies like finance, music, dance, stocks and so on.
Students are quite easier to make friends with as majority are outsiders.
Faculties are even more easier as they hardly say no to what we demand from them.

Dislikes

Just one thing and that is that our boys hostel only have 50 seats and therefore had to find accomodation off campus.

Placements at SRCC for B.com are legendary and students of SRCC have got the packages worth 20-30 lakhs as well. Average is also around 5 lakhs or rather more because the corporate where we get jobs are bigger and better than what other colleges have.

SRCC teaches you to never hold back!

Likes

I like the Graffitis on the walls of our campus as it's amazing the way they are done.
One can have an as engaging college life at SRCC as societies will never let you sit idle.
Faculties will definitely blow away your minds as they are so good at teaching that a long face in class means we have understood everything they taught.

Dislikes

Only thing I disliked is the schedule of the college as such early classes for a late riser is a tough thing to follow.

Placement Experience:

The Placements cell of SRCC needs no introduction as not just placements but even internships are so well taken care of. Financial institutions or rather merchant banking and broking companies are those which gives maximum payout and therefore they rule the Placements here.

SRCC is a very significant college!!

CUET UG Score of 99 percentile is required to get admission at SRCC.
Placements are just too good as almost 80% of B.Com (Hons) students are placed via our campus.
Placements cell nominates students and any student can be a part of it.

Dislikes

Off campus opportunities aren't provided as SRCC which is the top commerce college should provide.

SRCC is beyond words!!

College has a Nescafe counter inside and thats the need of the hour as coffee is my go to snack and luckily I don't have to go out for that.

Placement Experience:

At SRCC, from first year corporate interactions are provided to us and in a way are taught communication skills. So, in that sense, we have to travel distance for placements because only those who develop skills and also managing CGPA gets placements in this cluttered market.

SRCC is very special college!!

Everyone's dream in India is to study at SRCC but including all the courses the number of students admitted every year is just 600.
From politicians like Arun Jaitley to News Anchor Rajat Sharma, they all have been alumnus of our college.
Economics Hons is a tough program so college has brought the best faculties to make it easier for us.

Dislikes

Sports arena is there but college doesnt value sports as it should be the case.

Placement Experience:

EY has been the biggest recruiter but Deloitte, Adani Enterprises and corporates like them have ensured smooth functioning of placements as B.Com (Hons) and Economics (Hons) Students placements percentage is over 90%.

Likes

College infrastructure which includes centralised AC
College faculty is very polite and helpful
I like college complex the most in full college

Dislikes

College crowd I don't like them it's just my personal preference

You need to learn some practical skills which can lead you into good off campus placement and can earn ample amount of money. You just need to learn how to grab opportunity and work on it rest is your destiny

SRCC: Dream of Commerce Students

The infrastructure is top notch compared to most colleges in Delhi University. The campus has centralised AC in classrooms as well as the library. There are Smart Boards as well, desks are of good quality, classrooms are big and campus is clean.
The environment is well behaved. Even at the peak of DUSU Elections there is much less politics going on in the campus as compared to other colleges. You won't see any fights going on and there is peace in the campus.
You get a lot of networking opportunities. When you sit with top students of DU you get new ideas, you connect with people who will be going to the to companies. This will definitely benifit you in the future.

Dislikes

There is less diversity in the the college as there are only two course (also the SRCC GBO) in the college.

Placement Experience:

In the 5th semester of your course you become eligible of campus placements. Companies like DE Shaw, BCG, Deloitte, EY, KPMG and Google visit. Last year around 100+ companies visited and 520+ offers were made highest package was 36 lpa and avg package was between 8 lpa to 11 lpa.

one of most amazing things about srcc is the campus environment . its not huge compared to IITs ,but its vibrant and full of energy
the faculty at srcc is genuinely a strong point
this is the area where srcc really shines and justified its brand name . i,e placement cell

Dislikes

although srcc has a polished and well maintained campus but its relatively small compared to the scale of the crowd availablity
the hostel seats are quite limited , specially for outstation students
intense competiton & pressure in srcc campus

SRCC is very superb!!

Many movies too have been shot at our campus as our campus is an absolute livewire.
Many artists and actors too have come and promoted their music or upcoming movies.
If artists have come, politicians too need young guns so from our Foreign Minister to Transport Minister, they all too have come for seminars at our college.

Dislikes

Even if one has 0 interest in politics, he/she will have to develop it as it is more or less mandatory.

At SRCC I am still new but i checked the data of last year. In a batch of 120 around 70 studnets were placed and around 30 of them went for higher studies in Delhi School of Economics or GIPE. Some even went to LSE as such is the teaching at our campus that students have easily cracked LSE too.

SRCC truly means this in the terms of Excellent academics, Dedicated and inspiring faculty, lively and vibrant campus, great placement record, premier location, 60+ societies and the brightest student from all over country and neighbouring country.
It provides Library, smart boards, wifi facility, canteen, sports complex, beautiful ground xerox shop, stationery shop and what not.
There are 60+ societies for music, dance, painting, finance, consulting, etc. truly a place made for everyone.

Dislikes

SRCC only has two courses in undergraduate i.e. B.a economics hons and bcom hons which limits the students for exploring different fields compared to other multidisciplinary universities and colleges.

Heard of Srcc and not of its placement, isn't that impossible? Whether it's Google, Big 4, Microsoft, SBI or Zomato- everyone comes to this beautiful campus. The highest package of Srcc for undergraduate degree in 2024 was 35lpa and the average was 8.63lpa. It not only provides jobs but also provides internship opportunities to explore your field. Students are provided with 500+ offers for placement and 114+ offers for internships with different profiles in finance, consulting, etc. Student from 2nd year are eligible for internships.
