Likes

If i talk about teachers, they are also great and experienced.
Which is good as compared to other colleges and delhi university also provides scholarship for those students whose income level is low and those students grab benefit for this scholarship as well.
I like the crowd here is very lovely helping and friendly in nature

Dislikes

The major problem is our washroom as they are in a very poor condition
Secondly their administration which is so bad
And lastly their facilities like canteen which is so bad, their medical room which is always closedand many more

A college worth of memories

Likes

College Facilites were far better from most of other DU colleges
There were a lot of eating options near the college and crowd was also decent.
Faculty was supportive and knowledgiable. They so help in research work amd other extra curricular.

Dislikes

College infrastructure was something unattractive amd small.
DU curriculum should be improved as it does not make a student indistry ready.
College administration employees were rude and dont do work unless told by any coordinator or counsellor.

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester, students become eligible for placements. A no. of companies like MyCaptain, Byjus, HDFC, ICICI and other small sized firms visited college for placements. Highest offer was 6L p.a. while the lowest was 1.8L p.a. A near about 20% students were placed. While most of the students opted for higher studies or abroad studies, only some of the students were interested in placements.

Likes

I like the crowd here is very lovely helping and friendly in nature
I like the faculty here because they are supporting and encouraging
I like the placement here and opportunities for internships

Dislikes

I quite dislikes the Infrastructure over here
I dislikes that the college doesn't offer hostel
I dislikes that the college doesn't have any ground

If we talk about course curriculum of sri guru nanak dev khalsa college then it provides a variety of courses like honours courses commerce courses journalism and masters too that help students in many ways faculty of sri guru nanak dev khalsa college is very qualified and helping in nature they will also help you in your personal problems

My college life at SGND Khalsa College,DU

Likes

Faculties of the college are very good and supportive.
Labs and library are one of the best things in the college.
The active and motivating crowd of the college is most precious.

Dislikes

Management of the college is some what not good
There are literally no sports facilities in the college
The college canteen and washrooms are not well maintained.

The placement cell of the college is very active.They continuously offer internships and placement are provided every year with moderate package. A placement fair is organized every year in the college where more than 30+ companies come for campus placement.

The diversity of delhi university is amazing we have to learned about many cultural things.
The faculty of delhi university is very good and the teachers are highly educated and have a good amount of teaching experience
The name and fame of delhi university the prestige of their colleges are good.

Dislikes

The infrastructure are not so good in many colleges
Sometimes teachers cancel the classes without any reason
The safety of delhi university is very poor and girl are not safe in Delhi.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have choose Bcom because i have interest in e commerce and business things. The student and faculty ratio is 1:10. All the teachers are highly educated and have a good experience in Teaching. The exam is conducted on semester basis the exam will held on end of semester. And the difficulty level is moderate. A normal student can pass exam easily.

The best part was friendly staff/teachers
Socities- the best way to find our interest

Dislikes

Campus is small and hence you kinda miss roaming inside the college but outside college is fun :)

Placement Experience:

The placement is very less and to get the place you need to be very good in studies as well as other co-curricular activities so that you can grow as an individual. Well, I didnt go for college placement but their average package was around 3 LPA. Once you are in your second year, you are asked to join placement groups where you will find all the internship and placement opportunities.

The course curriculum is well defined every semester college will give you a subject list according to the list you select the subjects. I chose that course because I opt for ca also and bcom and ca course is almost similar so that was I choose that course Approx 50 students in a class. Qualification of faculty is upto P.h.d

Lack of proper Infrastructure Like other DU Colleges

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to sit for campus placements from their fifth semester. On average about 30 companies come for placements in a year and the average package ranges between 5 - 6 lakh. Profiles range from Business Development, finance associates, marketing and sales to Operations. Companies like D.E. Shaw, Education, BYJUs, Lenskart, ditto, and NCS were seen during 2022-23. Many students plan on pursuing an MBA after their grad.

Best Delhi University for commerce in North Delhi

My overall experience at sngkc was good.

The thing i disliked about sgndkc is they have short playground

I choose b.com prog because I was interested, At Delhi University faculty was good and the student ratio was 1:25. The faculty members were very qualified and their teaching method was good. 2 times the term exams had done and it was not pretty difficult to pass.

The faculty of the college is very good in terms of teaching and interacting with students
There are many good societies which can provide a lot of knowledge and work experience
Library of the college is also very big with a variety of books, novels etc

Dislikes

The infrastructure is a bit of average which can say
There is no extra space around the college premises
There is no big playground which the students can use to play games

The placement cell is there in the college, Companies with good reputations often come for scouting. It depends on the students whether they want to sit in the interviews and have a job or whether they'll go with some other plans.

Students become eligible from the third year for campus placement. The companies that visited are Deloitte, Sony and many more companies that come for placement. The average package is five lakhs and sixty thousand.

Sri Guru Nanak Dev Khalsa College was established as Sri Guru Teg Bahadur Khalsa Post-graduate (Evening) College. Later, it was made into a morning college. According to the reviews online, it is a really good college.

It is well known that it has a very small campus but is a lively one.
The professors are very kind and polite. You can approach them with any of your questions but the same is not the case with the administrative people.
Although you can’t keep your expectations high when it comes to placement cells. They recruit but not in huge numbers.
