St Stephen's College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

There are abundant opportunities for placements and internships throughout college depending on the course. High end MNCs and reputed organizations regularly visit our college for placement drives. For instance one of my batch mates got a placement offer to work for PwD right after graduation and another one got rhodes scholarship for pursuing further education in UK.

Various MNCs visit the college every year and it does provide very good opportunites for the students to get placed and get a fair enough starting positions. The average package is around 8-10LPA.

Placemens of my college are showing their brilliance at the peak of highest package of 25 lakhs per annum . St Stephen's college has its association with Cambridge University UK . The main companies are McKinsey & company, Bain & company banking companies Morgan Stanley JP Morgan American Express and so on... Students are eligible after their 2nd semester for Placements if they are talented.

The course curriculum is very well defined and comprehensive. The St. Stephen's College is ranked by NIRF as one of the top colleges in India for B.Sc and B.A Hons. in various subjects. The course curriculum changes every few years so that the students are getting the latest knowledge. Exams are held time-to-time in every semester and the difficulty level of exams is not very hard, it's moderate. One thing I do not like is that even after paying such high fees for tuition, we also have to pay 2500-3000rs per exam as exam fees.

The faculty is outstanding most of the teachers are passed from the college itself there highly professional also atomic exams are relatively not that heard it just requires going to the PUI cheese and getting the lecture notes would help up guide to pass exams.

Campus placement is provided at St Stephen's to the third year students . Average placement is around 8 lacs and scope of employment after sanskrit hons is in civil services and teaching profession and many more.

After the 2nd year students were eligible for placement and internship, at Vipro, Birla, Tata, and many more companies. The highest package is around 35-40 lakhs and the approx maximum number of students getting placement from this college.

I would say the course curriculum is not that light, it requires to be taken seriously throughout. Had done BSc in mathematics so automatically reflex was to pursue a master's in the same subject, that's why opted for it in the first place. But later realized we can do a lot more things with the same course apart from carrying on a Ph.D.

Around 50+ companies came to college for placement. Stephen's provides one of the best placements at Delhi University. Almost all the students who opt for placement get placed via college. Even opportunities outside campus placement are abundant

Placements usually start after the second semester. A variety of companies like Byjus, Namo India, Urban Calp, ICICI, DE Shaw, Oberoi groups, ABP news, Thomas Reuters, Microsoft, etc. visit the campus every year. More than 200 offers for jobs are made every year and a lot more for internships. Packages for jobs offered vary from 2,00,000-12,00,000 rupees. The campus placement cell informs the students of the jobs offered and the packages. About 10 students out of 50 take up the placement rest from the chemistry honours course goes for higher studies for the preparation of civil services.
