St Stephen's College Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Around 70% of the students get good campus placements, especially in the private sector. The average package for the students is 6,000,00 per annum. The highest package offered to the student varies between 25 lakhs to 35 lakhs. My plans are different as I want to pursue my higher education.

The placement percentage of our college is about 20-30%. The highest salary package offered ranges from 13 lakhs per annum to 14 lakhs per annum. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 lakhs per annum. The average package offered ranges from 5 lakhs per annum to 6 lakhs per annum. Some of the top recruiting companies are McKenzie and company, TCS, BCC, Teach for India, Times of India, etc.

Students can register in the campus placement cell and get job offers after the second year. They also get offers from top brands, MNCs, and startups. The highest package can reach up to 12 LPA and the average being 4-5 LPA. The degree offers me various avenues to enter into publication, marketing, content creation, and even go for master's in the same field.

Merit + interview + aptitude

It is a highly reputed college with extremely knowledgeable and dedicated teachers. The students too strive for excellence in academics and extra-curricular activities. The infrastructure of the college, especially the residence(hostel) blocks can certainly be improved. More courses can be introduced. St. Stephen's College is the only college among several colleges to have an artificial climbing wall. Some of the prominent student-run societies that stand out are the Debating Society and the North East Society.

St. Stephens is one of the most prestigious college in the country. The eminent faculty as well the exposure that the college offers to its students was the reason I chose the college. The different opportunities to explore different areas of learning other than class room studies. Most importantly the crowd of students from all over our country. There is freedom in choosing the discipline for my course in the beginning and you will be exposed to all the major discipline subject before you make a choice. There is a lot of companies come for placement. Major companies like Mckincy, Bain & Co, EY comes every year with a package of 14 to 24 lakes per annum. Also multiple other companies and startups too. Also there are a good number of internship opportunities available too.

One Mr. Robert who was always at the counter of the college with tremendous memory - He was Management for us for all practical purposes. Otherwise, the college principal and other management visibility were very low.

Economics has a way scope in the outer world like Indian economic services and many more, st stephen is one of the best colleges in india to study economics it makes the way to foreign university easier.
