The curriculum is refined by NEP and it is nice. There are common topic in semester 1 with class 11,12 but some parts in accounts and the whole of LAW is something new and it is a bit challenging for us but if someone pays attention in classes then one would not face any problems. Teachers randomly ask questions from concepts they have taught and this makes us study and pay proper attention. The mid sem examination questions are from the things discussed in classes and notes provided by faculty.

Generally, students become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester onwards. There are several companies visiting our college for different student categories, like Khadims, Tata, consulting companies like Deloitte etc. Highest package in Economics UG has been around 13.5 lakhs, while the average is around 6 lakhs, because of students pursuing further studies. Placement % is actually irrelevant in this case because it needs to be supplemented by other financial knowledge, plus students pursue further studies so placement is generally lower. My plan after getting the degree is to go for Masters, and plan for other financial professional courses.

The placements of the college is quite good when compared to other colleges . Students become eligible for placements in their final year. The average package that one can expect in this particular course in this college is about Rs. 600000 per annum whereas the highest goes around Rs.2400000 per annum

St xaviers do provide the students placement but yes its true that all does not get placed as all are not eually talented. I am pursuing acturial science as my professional degree so i think i would be able to manage to get a placement either through college or through linkedln or other placement sites

I chose because I liked chemistry and morever I need a bachelor's degree that's why. Improvement is need for practicals as we do the practicals mostly by ourselves but sometimes they announce sudden CIA which makes thing difficult cause practical needs good amount of experience and time and we only get 1 day a week for practical.

Course curriculum is ofcourse relevant with the current start but if you planning to do something like FRM or CFA be aware that the course focuses mainly on accounting that is relevant for CA and CS. Teaching method is very theoretical which is a negative point. The college is still developing and leading towards new courses and ways of teaching which will take some time but is a plus point.

Now comes to curriculum That curriculum was very effective. Basically there every 10 to 12 days gaps there corporate giant's or some real world people came to college and getting seminar to their knowledgeable field

Students are eligible for placement in the final year of thier respected courses.There is a Placement Cell in our college. Students need to register themself in the placement cell to be considered for on campus placements. Many renowed companies such as Deloitte,KPMG,Zomato comes every year. The highest package last year was 21 lpa bagged by a Bcom student. The median salary offered is around 6 lpa and the job roles are of Marketing, finanace, sales, risk analysts, etc. Nearly 90% of student (showing up for placement) gets selected. You can also opt for off campus placement and eye for high packages due to the reputation of the college.

The course curriculum under nep is very rigid and the BcomH course of St. Xavier's College is considered as a tough course among students. The syllabus is vast and also the difficulty level of the examinations of this college is quite challenging.
