I chose to opt for Zoology because of my passion for life sciences. The zoology department faculty in our college is very reliable. There are about 13 professors in the department. According to the NEP, there are no mid term exams or internals. Semester end exams are held 6 months apart.

I chose Physiology Honours because I was always very much into Physiology and Medicine.. And also Vidyasagar College is the Best College to study Physiology Honours under Calcutta University.. The Faculty:Student ratio is also quite Good and they provide one to one interaction to the student if needed.. All the Faculty are very highly qualified with the top most degree possible.. Their Teaching method is quite student friendly and Good.. They try their level best to make the students understand the concept in depth.. The Semester exams are timely conducted twice every year and the internals are also conducted at regular intervals..

I chose this course because it is one of the fields of biology that interested me much & has good overall job opportunities and research in future There are around 8 faculty members for 20 students The faculty is mostly qualified i.e. they all have master degrees & some have phd The exams are held every 5-6 months & are extremely tough to pass.

I have a great interest in English literature, and for that reason, I have chosen this course, every year there is a faculty of about 100 students in our college in that particular subject. Students have to get about 80% in their higher secondary examination and they can get a chance to be admitted to our college. It held two exams in a year in a semester-type rule.

All of the professors are good at this college. All of them are well qualified and they have done their PhD from well-known institutes. They teach very well in an interactive way. They are very friendly and they also give guidance about higher studies. There are 2 exams per semester. One is internal and the other is the final semester exam. This college is not an autonomous one but it is under Calcutta university. Internal exams are easy but since it is under CU so final sem exam can be tough, it depends on the university of Calcutta.

I always want to be a scientist. Biochemistry is a subject that can help me achieve my dreams for research biological science. The faculty members are the best and too much friendly with students and teach us very every detailed biological information. But the university exam is quite tough and hectic.

Vidyasagar College provides a number of courses to choose from, taught by a highly trained and qualified faculty. The teaching staff is very kind and supportive, creating a friendly environment inside the classroom. I chose this program because I want to pursue a career in this field. Exams are conducted semester-wise and these are not hard to pass if the student pays enough attention to the classes and does regular practice.

There are sufficient teachers for each department in this college. The faculty student ratio is properly balanced here. The humanities department and faculties are slightly better than the science depts. The faculties are very friendly and highly educated. Some of the professors have PhD degrees and there are also some new professors who are currently undergoing their PhD. The college is affiliated with the University of Calcutta.

If I talk of my stream most of the students prefer higher education after BA. In other streams, students get placed but the placement cell and process need to be more good here if compared to other universities and colleges. In my opinion, you have to study for a master's to get a good placement in this subject. I also planned for doing a master's in the future.

Vidyasagar Colleges Geography course is popular among the students. It is offered in both PG and UG level. These have some admission criteria and for PG level selection is either based on marks secured in the qualifying exam or marks secured in the entrance exam. Application can be filled online as well as offline mode. Application fee is paid through debit or credit card.
