Students will be placed in Best Companies. The highest CTC IS 15 Lakhs per Annum. More than 140 companies hire every year. The placement percentage of this college is comparatively higher than any other college and it is guaranteed.

For campus placements, from 6th semester onwards, the students are eligible to attend campus placements. Also, more and more trainings for aptitude tests and coding rounds are conducted continuously for the campus tests from TNP. They also provide trainings for particular companies. Many companies come every year to our college. The offer I got was in TCS company. The CGPA's of students to eligible for placements can be from 6.5 and more, depending upon the requirement of that particular company.

After the 2nd year you will get a chance to sit in interviews of company, many companies visit this college each year, even there is an electronic company of japan who used to hire 30 students each year from this college. You will get good placement opportunities. You can get a package of 6 to 18 lacs that totally depends on your performance.

I wanted to move out of Chennai for my college for a change. While I searching colleges outside Chennai I found Puducherry to be closest and moreover my uncle was also residing there. Pondicherry Engineering College is one of the best colleges in Puducherry for Engineering.

Admission is done through online on basis of 1) Merit 2) Josaa (JEE marks) and 3)management quota.

Its my dream to study in this college.And more over its an autonomous college with the scope to promote it to a Technological University, the faculty and staff are more comcerned about the students studies and career.

Because it is one of the government aided college with less fee with all infrastructure The well planned departmental buildings, library, hostels, students' amenities centre, open air theatre, residential quarters for staff with neatly laid out roads, lawns and gardens constitute the PEC campus which is about 210 acres

Overall it's a good college to spend your 4 years. you can enjoy your college as you wish. Management are not so strict. you can enjoy aside you can also concentrate on your studies and get placed in reputed companies. Since it's a government college,college has to improve their hygiene.
