Academic excellence: bmsce is renowned for its academic excellence, with a faculty comprised of highly qualified professors who are experts
The scholarship is applied to all students who can make use of it and it can be applied by caste certificate campus selection is good in college and the campus is too cool and eco-friendly.
The computer labs, the canteens, the greenery, the cleanliness, the faculty, the clubs, the enjoyment opportunities as well as the academic opportunities. the college also provides a lot of opportunities to study abroad for masters degree

Dislikes

The hostel facility is really bad they have only one hostel inside campus and other 4 are outside the main campus
Tuition fess is ok but it can be reduced because kcet people have half the fees than comedk.there is no scholarship present for comedk students, campus provide very good faculty in few streams and few bad faculty in bad.
Curriculum was really bad for us as we were the batch who joined after corona thing so it was very disturbed so many postponements took place students got really stressed and they protested too .

Navigating beyond the books:unvieling the BMS college of Engineering experience.

Likes

Faculty, their way of teaching, handling students.
No attendence related burden, like they will be very lineant about that.
Placements are good, students are getting placed in really good companies.

Dislikes

Management, it is not good at all, like they make their ways out leaving students to suffer.
No proper schedule for holidays, like not proper break was given.
The campus have only one playground, there should be more so that in one ground its not crowded always.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good in the college. You are provided a lot of good and excellent oppurtuinitie for the placement. The comapnies start coming to campus from the end of your 6th semester. The highest offer of this year is VISA near 33 lacs per annum, and the average is near 11-12 lacs per annum. The percentage of students getting placed is more then 90%.

Best infrastructure and excellent class room with air conditioner and BMS has the best facilities and BMS has the top placements and BMS cames under top 5 college in Karnataka. Many sports opportunities and many fests in month.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is the top 2 college in Bengaluru. And it has best placement offers and the placement goes till 35lpa(on campus) and upto 54lpa ( off campus). This college and best facilities and it has many events and fests in a year.

Likes

Canteen food is affordable and tasty at the same time
College campus is near to my house so i can reach the collge easily
College campus is huge and theres lot of greenary and sports facility

Dislikes

The classes are long and tiresome it would be better if there were frequent breaks
College doesn't provude wifi access to all the students
Fee structure is a little high it could have been less which would be better

My course is B.TEch in engineering for Electronics and Instrumentation, I had to choose this course as I was not engineering to join EEE, for which I had a passion to join as I'm interested in entering The Electrical vehicles sector.

The college has a good curriculum and the time table is well planned and provides us sufficient time for extra activities and personal growth.
The infrastructure and the facilitates provided are very good.
The college is in a central area in Bangalore where everything you require is easily accessible.

Dislikes

The exams dates are never finalised and keep changing until the last moment.
The college is strict with their attendance policy where you require a minimum of 85% attendance in each subject.
The campus is small as compared to other colleges.

Placement Experience:

More than 1000 offers were made to 1300 eligible students during 2023. We have more than 350 reputed National and multinational companies visiting the campus for placements. The placement rate for 2022 was 80% and the median package offered was 8.24 lakhs.

We can enjoy college life it will full of fun
We can join all clubs. Infrastructure is good
College is having library facilities and sports facilities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because I was very much interested in chemistry. So I took chemical Engineering. The faculty are very experienced and very helpful in guidance. Exams are normally good and need to be read daily basis

Likes

College environment, activities, sports, gym
Curriculm, Classes and friendly faculties

Dislikes

Very difficult examinations, class hours
Hostel fee is slightly high comparitively

Placement Experience:

BMS is one of the top colleges in placements. Companies like Goldman Sachs, Adobe, Cisco etc. come for recruitment. Many students in CSE get Tier 1 packages. Almost all get internships. Average packages stand at 10 lakhs and the highest being 45 lakhs.

Life at BMSCE

Likes

The campus and crowd of bmsce is real good. You get to learn a lot.
The canteen has amazing food at good prices
The sports facility is real goid in the college

Dislikes

The washrooms are not clean most of the times
Too many classes to attend. 85% Attendence is mandatory
Too many projects and assignments to write.

Placement Experience:

The placements in our college are really good. Almost 90% of the students who sit for placements get placed. The average package is around 6 lakhs per annum. The highest goes up to 40 lakhs for branches like CSE AND ECE.

I chose the course because it is the highest in boom and opportunity for people around the world to this course. Faculty is too helping students and help all students and they are friendly to the students The ratio was 1:30 and the exams were od moderate level which happens in every 6 months

I was in search of computer science but I got artificial intelligence I am happy with it because this too has boomed course which is today's need. The faculty are cool and the teaching is too good. The exam here are in the semester system and also the the checking is strict.

The building are pretty decent. We mostly be in Platinum Jubilee Block , where all our engineering departments are located. They are all pretty nice.
Campus life is pretty chill we get spare time , time to socialize and even many fun events . Crowd here is also pretty chill .

Dislikes

ID card mandate. Come on Digital Time. Let us use our mobile or some rfid on bags or something pleasee...
Lifts are always full during peak hours. So if you are getting late be ready to climb the stairs

Placement Experience:

The third semester is when students become eligible for campus placements. I am not aware of the companies visited and offers made. But recently what I heard was an IS student got a 60lpa from some company. The placement percentage was decent like 70 is what I heard. My plan is to get placed in a good company and get some experience.
