- The college has built it's own networks and has a good reputation overall.
- NSS is quite active here and conducts majority of events.
- Most events here are organized by students single handedly which provides them exposure.
Dislikes
- Basic facilities like proper hygienic in washrooms is not present. Despite such high fees there is no air conditioning in classrooms. Even the library has very less and construced seating space with less availability of relevant course related books.
- The faculty here is least considerate and instead of teaching they ask students to give presentations the whole semester. Their teaching methods are not up to the mark especially in a course where they are expted to train us as futures teachers.
- There is absolutely no campus life. The college is very strict about attendance and calls PTM every once a whil even for students above 75% attendance. The fests here have no vibe at all and there is no placement in our course.

Placement Experience:
Students in B.ed course become eligible to take jobs in the last semester i.e 4th semester.
The college does not provide any placement in our course instead students themself have to mail and contact different schools to secure a teching job.
Average package a student can expect depends on many factors like their subjects, qualifications and skills. On an average one can expect around 6lpa in private sector.
For securing jobs in government schools Students have to clear exams like DSSSB etc where average package ranges from 10 -12 lpa.
Many of my seniors are doing jobs in private schools as techers while some teach online and have their you tube channels.
I am planning to do masters in English literature from DU to increase my knowledge and job opportunities.

- Placements were very poor as mba is just started here
- No strictness was there for college attendance
- Uncompetitive students were here while doing mba
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for placement in second year college placement was very pathetic and most of the students who got good package have applied off campus . Only 2-3 small shop companies had visited here . Mba is new here so good placements and companies will take time .

- The faculty of the college is very supportive and experienced. They keep consulting you on various aspects rather than just focusing on studies.
- There is so much greenery in the college and the infrastructure of the college also gives DU vibes. Also it is bigger as compared to other colleges of IPU.
- Placements of the college are also decent. Almost 80-90% students get placed easily. But they have to work hard to get a good package.
Dislikes
- The condition of classrooms is very poor. There is no AC in the most of the classrooms and even if it is there, it does not work.
- There is only one canteen in the college and also it is in a very bad condition. There is no seating arrangement and also the kitchen of the canteen is very unhygienic.
- There is too much strictness inside the campus
Placement Experience:
The main reason I got admission in MSI was of the placements. I think it was overhyped but yeah the college provides pretty decent placements but you have to work hard on your skills to secure a good package. Companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Reliance etc. visit the college. In my course BBA, the average package was 4.5 LPA and the highest package was 7.5 LPA.

- Teachers cooperation and friendliness in college as they are always available in need whether it on phone calls or in college they are ready to help us in our studies and it feels like home with them as they are really very cooperative.
- Regular conduct of competitions and hackethons as that helps to build a challege facing spirit in the students and the confidence to face these things and these competitions also helps im building a strong resume for placements.
- Availability and activeness of students in various society and it helps in building confidence to be comfortable in social gatherings.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure of college and the washrooms mainly. The seats in the classroom are a bit in bad condition. Also the floor and walls are old and it gives government post office vibes really. Windows are also really old and we are able to open only few
- Unavailability of ACs in the classrooms as it becomes really difficult to attend classes in summers
- There is no girls or boys common room which should be necessary also there are no breaks in between the class. The classes are consecutive and of 1 hour each. There is only half an hour recess period which is not sufficient.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Course of BCA i think is upto the mark and every necessary things are there
What is not that satisfactory is exam pattern and the difficulty level of exams in ggsipu. Sometimes the questions are really out of the box which one has never studied.

- Infrastructure for management studies is very poor
- They don’t stick to what they promise to students
- Rules and regulations are not so good as it feels to back in school life
Course Curriculum Overview:
In my view for BBA (G) we can prefer it as name of collage is enough for Job placements and internship placement some faculty teacher can be better but they are okay for these type of courses

- Pro's are faculty are good and cooperarive
- Law building in entire campus is one of the best . In every class there will be an ac. So need to worry

- Placements are not there in law couse. Hope in future they provide
- Couse curriculum will be beneficial to personal and professional development
Course Curriculum Overview:
The couse curriculum is good. As msi has started its law couse since 3 years only. So none of the students are graduated from this college till now. May in future there will also be a practical exposure of law related things

- Online services are not available for migration and other forms
- Sports was not given much importance in the college
Placement Experience:
Maharaja Surajmal Institute is value for money.
Placements: Almost everybody in the BBA course were placed. The highest placement in 2024 is Rs. 7,50,000. The average package in 2024 is Rs. 3,50,000. Recruiting companies include Federal Bank, Upgrade, etc. Students who got the internship from Bachelois in Business Administration are less likely to get it, as college doesn't help.
Infrastructure: The quality of infrastructure is very poor in Maharaja Surajmal Institute. The library and labs are good but the classrooms don't have ACs. The quality of food available in the canteen is average. Don't join this college if you want to excel in sports. Hostel quality is very poor too. You won't find ACs in rooms. Moreover, there are Indian toilets, which are outdated.
Faculty: Few teachers are seriously irritating and focus more on attendance than the quality of their teaching. A BBA course, in my opinion, doesn't make you job-ready but gives a basic outline of the job role and responsibilities

- Faculty was good, they were educated and some of them were really good mentors.
- The timings were also good and there were only four classes per day.
- The college canteen also was very student friendly.
Dislikes
- The campus was very small and used to get crowded during exams.
- There were rarely any cultural programmes held.
- Students were not allowed to join internships due to strict attendence criteria.
Placement Experience:
In the last semester, students were eligible to sit in placements.
Accenture, Deloitte, S&P Global, Tata and Unacademy and easymytrip are some companies that came to our college for placements.
The CTC they gave was average of 5 lacs per annum.
The highest was from S&P Global being 6lacs per annum.
50% students got placements while others joined their family business or are further studying.
My plans are also to do a master's degree in Economics.

PLACEMENTS ARE GOOD .BUT SOME STUDENTS ARE UNPLACED .AND THE OFFER OF THE PLACEMENTS IS MOSTLY 3.5 LPA . ONLY 3-4 STUDENTS GOT THE GOOD PACKAGE FROM COLLEGE OUT OF 120 IN THE FIRST SHIFT .ELSE EVERYBODY GOES FOR 3.5 LPA . NO ROLE SPECIFIED PLACEMENTS YOU HAVE TO APPLY WHICHEVER ROLE THEY ARE OFFERING

Well for my course It's BBA B&I(Banking And Insurance). Gathering knowledge about a firm a person should primarily focus on the management team . Their line of work , superior - subordinate effect etc. Talking about improvements to be done can be providing students PDFs to learn.

What are your reviews of Maharaja Surajmal Institute, Delhi, for a BBA?

One of my friends studied there and according to him and his classmates it isthe worst institute to pursue a BBA degree.
Below are the points mentioned which will prove why they have such an aversion towards this institute:
- Attendance is the major issue. You need to maintain at least 75% attendance. The professors can detain you at 74% attendance.
- There are only two streams - BBA (General) and BBA (Banking & Insurance).
- There are a total of six subjects in each semester. The faculty is not so good.
- Mugging up is better than understanding the topic.
- The infrastructure of the institute is outdated. The top floor is the administrative block, and the ground floor is for the campus.
- No enthusiasm is shown for extra-curricular activities.
The college environment is a mix of decent students and dull students from various schools. MAIT and other below-average colleges conduct the seminars. The college timing is from 8:10-1:30, with a 20 minutes break at 11:00. There are six classes in a day. It feels similar to a school.
