Good studying environment for students, College location ideal
Well maintained campus, Good infrastructure
Canteen, Basketball court, And few places to relax
Dislikes
Campus lil bit small, overcrowded for all the students
Course Curriculum Overview:
NEHU syllabus is quite good I should say, especially with the introduction of the NEP(New Education Policy)
Well regarding the curriculum, I would say the teachers play and important part regarding that situation.
However, exams or tests are becoming quite a headache for the students compared to the duration of our courses
I really like the teachings and the effort they put in
I also like how there is a college canteen
The library and the basketball court is great
Dislikes
I dont like the bathrooms since its too crowded
I also dont like the class hours as its too long
The college timing is also something i dislike
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because to be honest it is one of the easiest subjects but also one of the subjects you can easily score marks in....tests are held before exams which is a good sign and also helps the students to prepare
The infrastructure was quite commendable and the teachers by far were the best when it comes to helping us during our time there
Library was filled with books and we never had any problems in finding notes or study materials at that time
The indoor stadium with good seating arrangement and a roof was the ones stop for us to hangout or play
Dislikes
Less co curricular activities made college life filled with only studies for the majority of the year
The student council was still developing but as time will pass I feel it will grow.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course as I had earlier studied in the commerce background so I opted for that. When it came to the college, it helped me learn the course in depth and it further provided more information on the course materials and later build us towards a proper approach to studies.
The timing of exams were very easy and easy for all the students considering some of us had part time jobs to attend.
I have no idea about which semester become eligible for campus placement as teacher had never discussed with us. My plan after doing my degree in BBA i will go for further studies like MBA in finance and economics .
Nothing as such. I loved studying there. It gave me an opportunity to let people know that college name does not matter but how well you prepare yourself during your exam.
It's central government college so I chose it. It has all the facilities as per government guidelines which are helpful being a good clinician. college is situated in depth of nature as it is in Shillong giving a good and fresh environment to achieve knowledge
There are hardly 20 seats for MBA and its tough competition to beat upon. Howsoever in our college we have the opportunity to get into this course in 3 ways. Students with good grades and at par with their academic records get it on spot. few like NCC/NSS can also get in directly (depends upon their records)Other sources are through entrance exams and personal interview if they do not satisfy the above criteria.
I choose this course because I want to work as a banker and accountant. The steps followed as a part of the institution are you just need to go to college and ask for the form in college office and they will give you the form and you just need to fill up and submit and you'll get direct admission.
Admission is approved by North Eastern Hill University, Shillong. You can get admission directly with proper counselling. You need to be eligible though, and have a minimum aggregate of 55% in H.S.S.L.C/12th Std.
