the fifth year of mbbs is always internship year which is offered to students by the college itself in order to help them practice what they have learnt. Each student is placed in all the different departments over the year showing them the different fields involved

One year internship is compulsory after a 4.5-year course. Adequate exposure to various cases. It's the time where the students learn the clinical practice. A monthly stipend is given by the college. Graduates after the final year exams will be posted in various departments. All the major postings take one month including community medicine. Other departments take half month internship. It is a stipened one you get paid 5000 as well as earn experience, later if you want you can join the hospital and do residency for which you'll be paid around 50k

As heard from one of our senior, our college provides a stipend of 5000 per month. In most private colleges of Karnataka stipend is not provided, so our college students have an advantage in terms of stipend. In Government colleges of Karnataka 20,000 per month stipend is provided.

There are no placements for MBBS students still all students of CET seat holders ll get placed in rural service after internship 6lakh annually they will get paid.
