The process for final placements starts in the 5th trimester. Since many students already receive a PPO during their summer internship, the placement process is completed soon. Even in this pandemic, the final placement went well and many students got placed in leading companies. NMIMS Mumbai has an impressive track record in placements, with its students receiving lucrative salary packages during the annual placement drive. The latest NMIMS Mumbai Placements 2022 report has revealed a significant increase of 66.04% in the highest salary package, which was INR 57.65 LPA, as compared to the previous year. Additionally, the average salary package for students was INR 23.07 LPA, which is a substantial increase of 25.04% from the previous year.
Over 150 recruiters participated in the placement drive from various sectors, including BFSI, Consulting, IT, Pharmaceuticals, Media & Telecom, and others. The recruiters included major names such as Aditya Birla Capital, EY, Capgemini, Cognizant, and ICICI Bank. Out of these recruiters, over 40 were new to the placement drive, while over 60 were Fortune 500 recruiters.
