The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

My College Life

Likes

One of the things that i liked about my college is that it provides good placement offers.
The pre-placement training sessions is also amazing.
Another thing is its good and knowledgeable faculty members who help the students everytime.

Dislikes

The college is very untidy and not hygenic at all.
The college canteen's food is not good and very unhealthy.

Placement Experience:

From the seventh semester ownwards, students are eligible for campus placements. There were many companies who visited the college, like TCS, PWC, Accenture, Wipro, Cognizant and a huge number of startups. The highest package offered was of 21 LPA and the average package is of 5 LPA. Approximately, 60% of the students got placed in my year. I am currently working and have a plan to persue masters after 2 years.

Please don't was too good and 72 lakh rupees per annum it is a good college and I paper to do join this college for the BBA and B.Tech courses of Bachelors you can do this college degree and become out successfully

My Review of my college

Likes

Canteen is well maintained, lots of food to choose
Providing every subject notes as pdf for the students.
Some faculties behave too good and understand the students well

Dislikes

The timing of the college and strict security so that the students has to sit and wait for the departure bell even if they dont have any class.

Placement Experience:

After 2nd semester, students become eligible for placements. Not many companies came to hire the MCA candidates. The average package was atleast 3 LPA. Around 15% from the MCA candidates got a job from college placements, while others had to find it from their own.

Good education good career

Good infrastructure and well educated and knowledgeable faculty
Best lab with personalized system and personal assiso
Regular induction program conducted by college which invites many famous industrialists

Dislikes

The college don't organise any kind of feast
Area of the college campus is less as compared to other colleges
The college don't have a playground of its own

Placement Experience:

The placement rate is very good and a good number of companies campus visit the campus and almost 90-95% get placement from our college. And if a student doesn't get placement within the time allocated for his courses then the college takes responsibility for that student for another six months

Good education good jobs

Likes

The labs are very good and efficient.Single system or computer is provided to every student
Regular induction program conducted and famous HRs from diffrent IT companies are invited
Centralized Ac in all the labs and halls present in the campus

Dislikes

There is no dedicated playground.But the sports equipments are present in the basement for everyone
We cannot exit the college campus anytime we want to.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and curriculum are very good along with the core subjects the college curriculum includes important subjects that are required to crack and government job very easily like aptitude classes helps a lot for students. The overall curriculum gives complete knowledge of the core branch along with other important subject matter that is good for our progress.

At the end of the 2nd year, the placement process gets started. Due to the stock market downfall, very few companies have approached till now. Students often work on their resumes, and practice interview skills. Students typically apply for the company by submitting their CVs through the placement cell or directly to the company HR.

I am absolutely thrilled with the exceptional education I received at IEM under UEM! The faculty and staff created a supportive and challenging
The Faculty here is very supportive and intellectual. Unlike other colleges they help over the college hours
The placement record here is very well. Even the mean package for BCA student is also good

Dislikes

The Campus is small that is the only thing it disappoints me a bit

The course is a good course as its Bachelor of Computer Application which give jobs in IT field. Though i think theres a lot of competition in this field . So personally i think i should go for a maste degree which is MCA .

College life is really special for each and everyone has to avail it in beautiful and meaningful way

The college has a really good academic record ,the faculties are also really very helpful has helped
The teaching method of the faculties are also great over here ,the mentor the students through various ppts, notes so that the students comprehends the topic in an easy wayso that
The campus has a pretty good infrastructure with online and offline library access for the students and they organise various cultural activities for the students and one the important thing is it's ragging free

Dislikes

Canteen could be improved in a much way possible classroom could be air conditioned

Course Curriculum Overview:

To know and understand this integrated course is really complex. This course requires both business and law ..which tells us to understand the value of giving justice to society both in common people and to the people who are related to business, and company sectors. This very course gives a detailed value to both the subjects. Our college also takes frequent exams with practical-based questions to understand the depth of the course. The faculties give core value to each and every student so that they can adapt the way of teaching in an easy method

Students life in kolkata

Likes

College Ambience is really good and it has a very large campus
Like football, cricket, basketball and it has a annual function too called URECKON
It has a volleyball ground too and every year they host annual intra college tournament

Dislikes

Faculties are very rude here and almost every time they used to tease for unknown reasons only
The engineering people get all the good jobs the management courses like law and business have no security of placements
Also it seems more like a school rather than a college like 9 to 5 once you entered you can't leave until 5 pm

Course Curriculum Overview:

When I just ended my Class 12 it was a pandemic time and I am worried at first but then suddenly one day a call came and I get to know about this course, I was so overwhelmed by that course so I taken admission but I think it was a big mistake of my life now I am in fourth year and I still feel depressed when I think about it. Overall, the course was good but it needs some more practical example rather than giving notes of 100-200 pages

Likes

Canteens of this college is good and food quality is decent enough
This college has some facilities like ATM and indore games
Faculties are too good and their teaching skill is perfect and they are always ready to help you in your academics in any time

Dislikes

This college has too much fees as in compare to other engineering private colleges
Class rooms are not that much good and only lab rooms have been provided air conditioner
Some computers are not working in the lab rooms and this college is too strict for there attendance and for that reason students are not abel to do there extra curricular activities

This college provides you linked in learning, and coursera and some other application like autocad in free This college also have some extra subjects like history,geography which is not actually applicable in your b.tech course

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
