The scholarship also grants to good students, their placement training and assistance are brilliant, and our college is always ranked in the highest placement ratio.
Our college gives a huge opportunity to each and every student to get placed in the reputed company and they can a get a good idea of how the interview done
Teachers are really helpful and are passionate about their subject and motivate us to make changes in the learning experience .they provide helpful meaningful notes for students to prepare for exam.they do listen to students suggestions while teaching.

Dislikes

College canteen is not so good. the food they provide its not good
The average package is very low . last placements were not so good .
Hostels are not good there..students prefer more for pg and own flat,as hostels also don't have good mess as there foods are not good.

University of engineering and management Kolkata has good placement record
Uem is one of the best engineering colleges in kolkta with big classroom and good faculty
Faculties of UEM Kolkata are very helpful

Dislikes

Washrooms were not cleaned properly.
Uem Kolkata campus is too much strict...they always follow their restrictions

???? UEM Kolkata offers good placement. I got placed in Cognizant and in my batch (2023 pass out) cognizant, mindtreeLte, Accenture, Capgemini, Tata Consultancy services, Wipro are the mass hiring companies.

UEM Kolkata

Good faculty and their friendly behavior
Very strict about discipline and decoram.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year students are eligible for placement. TCS, WIPRO, COGNIZANT, WEBEL, IBM and many more companies. Best students get more than 3 or 4 offers. Highest is 72lpa Average is 9LPA APART from the recession time 100% placement. But in recession time 64%. I will go for placement and then higher studies.

I like studying in this college very much because the faculties are very good and helpful
Everything here is fine and ok the campus placement is also very good
The management team of this college was also very nice and they are also very helpful

Parking Facilities are not good Enough.

The faculties are helpful that's why they prepare the student so well that they also have the skills and experience un that subject and then get placement easily by cracking the interview . They also get a good knowledge in that subject

faculties are very helpful to all. They are always ready to help students if they have any doubt in any topic.
the college premises is very good. As because our college guard is always take a in the gate as well as behind of the college also.
our college is very clean. The workers are aware about there work so that this is happening.

Dislikes

in college water quality is very bad as the water takes like littile salty.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would like to say that I choose the field which I like so on that prefference if I see then I would like to give 10/10 . And the other thing is students should aware about the stream which they are taking as there are many subjects in these streams .

UEM KOLKATA REVIEW

The professors at UEM are highly knowledgeable and use effective teaching methods, which greatly enhances the learning experience.

Dislikes

The lack of air conditioned classrooms makes it uncomfortable, especially for exams during hot summers.
While the campus is generally well maintained, some of the facilities and infrastructure could use significant improvements to better support students.
The course curriculum, although rigorous , sometimes feels outdated and not fully aligned with current industry demands and trends.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th sem, placements begin , there are virtual interviews as well as face to face interviews on campus. companies of different sizes with different pay packages visit and go through a rigorous selection process and hire the best.

Faculty behaviour, experienced faculty, all room are digital class room
Placement was good in this college... average package is 4.8 lakhs
Class room was good , lab are also perfect... specially computer lab was very impressive

Campus was small , no sports ground are there, no break between class start time to end time ..9 am to 5 pm
Hostel was far away from the college...not that type of hostel that are a type of tlat
Canteen also in the inside of the college,, cafeteria was very small ..

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for the campus placement was 4th year. Means 7th semester the on campus placement was good in our college many companies like mind tree, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini and many more some students lpa are 74 lakh and the average package are 4 to 5 lakhs. Highest package are 74 lakh..70 persent students are getting placement. My plan was to secure a job in a good company and larne that things..if some students don't get job our college give free classes of Gate and cat also UPSE for free

College teachers are friendly in nature. Support every student in there studies
Anti ragging environment in college campus all students and seniors are friendly.
Exposure to many hackathons and extra curricular activities like eutopia fest and estacia a literature fest

College placement is not so up to mark as shown in the Boucher
College campus is not too small and doesn't have sports ground.

Placement Experience:

Placement is not so good. Students mostly prefer off campus but college conduct on campus placement with average package of 400000 per annum but it is highly competitive because number of placement offers are lower than the students apply. College also charges some amount for internship preparation. They show highest package of 72 lpa but it is from uem jaipur not uem kolkata.

An honest review for my college

Likes

The Faculties are good, friendly and quite qualified
No ragging at all. Every student is friendly and have a good nature towards other

The infrastructure is not at all enjoyable
Wearing uniform everyday is kind of a hectic thing

Students are eligible for campus placement from the 4th year that is the 7th sem Our campus is visited by companies such as TCS, HCL, INFOSYS, COGNIZANT ETC. 80% of the students gets placed every year For myself, I will try to grab an opportunity for myself in the 4th semester. And I m opting for off campus placement because the on campus does not provide that much of an amount for my employment

The college provides a real life corporate environment which makes you job ready and easy to adapt to the competitive corporate environment.
The college does not compromise on it's discipline.
Ragging free and friendly environment inside the campus

Dislikes

Class schedules are very hectic and very less time gaps between successive classes. We have 7 classes per day for the entire week.
Gatekeepers are very arrogant and have no compassion with the students.
Faculty members sometimes fail to explain concepts properly and are ignorant of whether students are able to grab the concepts or not.

The campus provides placement to 70 to 80 percentage of students with an average package ranging from 3.5 lacs to 4.5 lacs. The students are eligible for placements from the beginning of the 7th semester. The highest package was 72lpa and a lot of students got placed at a salary of more than 8lpa.TCS , Wipro , Accenture and infotech are among top recruiters.

Why am I getting so negative reviews about UEM Kolkata?

UEM Kolkata has been the highlight of negative views lately and here are the reasons:

It is fairly new and hasn’t reached any milestone yet which makes it unreliable according to the standards set in society. People don’t trust newly established private universities.
The entrance exam of UEM Kolkata is very easy and people pass it without any problem.
UEM Kolkata is new and therefore has no accomplishments and therefore uses the records of UEM Jaipur which makes parents skeptical.
The Institute has a very strict environment and therefore comes in the way of students who want to enjoy their college life. These students somehow convince their parents that the Institute is not good for them.
UEM Kolkata had issues with UGC(University Grants Commission) and is not recognized by the government and therefore it creates doubts about the degree among students.

These are some of the reasons why some students will be skeptical about joining UEM Kolkata. Talk to the students presently studying there as they can only provide you with the exact information. Try visiting the institute beforehand and decide for yourself.
