Splendor is the name of our cultural fest that is organised every year and various other activities were also organised by the student union so all over experience was very good and the campus life is also good .
The faculty of the college was so much good. the professor of the college has good and teaching methods of the professor has so much attractive
Fees in my college are slightly high, and there is somehow a high cost of study, but they give a lot of scholarships to various students like economically weaker, sportspersons, and those who are good in academics.

Dislikes

There where not many things but few things which i really do not liked in our college campus first of all there where lack of water coolers facility during summer season & sometimes there where no water in the cooler it where empty whole day.
The things I dislike about college was some of thing's where poor in infrastructure & At the starting many society where not too good
I joined 2-3 society's but due to lack of communication between seniors they ruined our program

Likes

College canteen is too good ,the. Food is if good quality
Sports facility are good ,if you are in college teams you get daily 60rs refreshment in canteen free
Too good relation with neighbouring college aryabhatt

Dislikes

Too small campus ,just 2 small bulidings
We share a common playground with aryabhatt college
Freshers and other college fest are not too good but othe colleges in campus have good fests

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is very relevant ,it prepares for real world works like data scientists ,data analytics ,risk conslutant and many more it have very much of use in upcoming future of AI and data This course is demanded in govenment jobs like ISS and some posts in SSC

The curriculum which is in accordance with NEP- 2020 , providing a holistic development opportunity to students. Various Ability Enhancement Course and Skill Enhancement Course included to enhance skills of students.
Faculties are highly qualified and experienced. Students can work under various research projects. Lab facilities are also up to the mark. Infact it is one the the best in Delhi University.
Various Societies are there enabling students to enhance their soft skills like leadership qualities, public speaking, team work. Annual fest is SPLENDOR, a three days long event including performances from college students and a celebrity night.

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not adequate. Though there are annual sports events but one can't pursue it on a regular basis. The sports ground is shared by two colleges.
As per Microbiology course, the time table can get a bit hectic because of long duration of practicals.
Hostels are not provided by the college. Students have to rely on nearby PGs and flats which sometimes charge a hefty amount.

Placement Experience:

For Microbiology course, the campus placements are not available. You need to get masters or PhD degree in order to get good employment opportunity. College helps to make students competent by providing several internship programs both paid and unpaid. Several skill improvement opportunities are offered during vacations as summer internship program. Placement in other courses offered by college is quite well. It includes Bcom, BSc Computer Science, BSc Mathematics, BA History and others. Companies visited include Infosys, Indian Army and others. Highest package was 13 lakh while the lowest one was 60k. Average package was 5-6 lakhs. After completing my BSc degree I would like to go for PhD. Virology and medical microbiology are my field of intrest.

The table tennis college

Likes

Food was nice in the canteen. The mess was cleand and well maintained and the prices were reasonable too..
The sports faculty was awesome here..all i remember was playing table tennis throughout my bachelors.
The marking system and the assignment allotment was well maintained.

Dislikes

The infrastructre was hell we shared a football ground with another college that is Aryabhatta.
The faculty was not upto the mark, their attitude and way of teaching was not very clear
The other staffs of the college was rude as well especially the sportq management the one who issues sport material.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Societies of this college are awesome. Ka-ching the commerce society and Hasratein the Drama club are extremely engaging, they are very active. The Placement Cell and Enactus are also very active and you could see their instagram for reference.
A good girls to boys ratio, in my class of 106 atleast 30-40 are girls.

Dislikes

Campus is very small as compared to other colleges, but will be fixed once we get a building back from Aryabhatta College.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of Business Law is very relevant as per my knowledge. The Theory part of financial accounting is a little bit outdated but the practical part as far as I know including Tally prime is really good and comprehensive. The area for improvement has to be the General elective subjects.

Likes

The canteen's food is quite affordable and tasty too
Library got a nice sitting area and has almost every book
The seniors are very cordial and kind . They help you alot !

Dislikes

The college campus is bit small and could have been better if the campus would be large
Even though the college got nice library, we aren't allowed to take laptop inside it

Placement Experience:

The college got a really good placement cell names PATHWAY . The cell is really active and keeps sending internship options and placement options to all the students and the average package is 7 LPA .

I like about my college that my teachers are very good they care about are studies
I also like about my college that i have found wonderful friends in my college
The environment of my college is also neat and clean

My college does not have ac in all the classes
My college also does provide hostels for students
My college campus area is really small it should be more expanded

RLA - A College Review

Likes

The first thing I liked about my college is the crowd. Almost all the seniors are very much supportive and they all have a positive attitude towards their juniors.
Second thing that is best about the college is the infrastructure. The builiding is quite big and the college is very spacious.
The administration department tries to solve the queries and questions of the students immediately.

Dislikes

The thing I disliked about my college is the canteen. The food is not too much tasty. Although the food items costs very less, but there is no taste at all (according to me).

Placement Experience:

The last year students are eligible for campus placements. There are alot of companies who have visited the campus and have done campus recruitment at a large scale, Like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, etc. The offers are only made to the students who have the practical knowledge also. The highest package is around 11-12 lakhs p.a. whereas the average goes around 6-7 lakhs per year. The percentage of the students getting placements is moderate. Not too much students from the campus get jobs through campus recruitment, but the one who deserves to, absolutely get it. My plans after getting my BCOM HONS DEGREE is to give an attempt for CAT ENTRANCE EXAMS AND CRACK IT. for getting admission into TOP BUSINESS SCHOOLS OR IIMS.

Life in RLAC , South Campus , Delhi University

Likes

For sports all the things are available with best playground of our college.
There are many society in which a Student can get admitted in the basis of his/her audition.
College canteen is quite good and quite big . So one can enjoy his time there.

Dislikes

College elections are the worst time when a student should stay at home .
College campus is a bit small . It's because one building of RLAC. Is given to Aryabhatta college for some time but in upcoming 1-1.5 years RLAC will get it back . Then many more subjects will be introduced in college.

Placement Experience:

In RLAC there is a placement cell which work for providing placements . Every year many companies ( big/ small) come and choose the liable students for their companies. Looking back into not many MNLC s have approached to college but yes by looking at the stats it can't be said that MNlCs don't approach.

South Delhi College life

Likes

Modern infrastructure, active student clubs like environment club, Acting club, sports club. The office faculty and staff are very supportive and good they don't make you wait in long lines and resolve your doubts as quickly as possible.
There is an annual fest, cultural fests, competitions, freshers party. Also there is a diverse group of students present at the college, so the social interactions are quite enriching which might be helpful to build networks.
Well - equipped labs, Microscopes and since labs are a major part of studying Mineralogy. Library is also well maintained with a lot of books from different foreign authors which are quite expensive in the market. Classrooms are comfortable with ACs.

Dislikes

Although there are a few extracurricular activities but the scope is very limited either it's related to environment, Acting or dancing. There should be more of those things. Also the field work is only once in a year it should be at least 2-3 times
Field work is the most important in Geology as it gives more practical experience but in total for a 3 year course there are only 3 field works. Also there are frequent elections going on in the college which disturbs the environment.
There are Placement Challenges as Limited companies visit the campus. For arts or science students there is no opportunity at all. Fewer opportunities for certain fields like Bachelor's in computer science, making job searches stressful.

Placement Experience:

the placement opportunities are limited to in computer science students and BBA students. so, there are only internship opportunities for geologist students and art students and no iplacement opportunities. so in my course people either go for masters and then go for research, PhD, clear the net exam and become professor or they go for public sector with the help of giving competitive exams.
