DSJ from Prachi’s Vision

Likes

The environment is very safe and interactive.
The infrastructure of DSJ is also very nice
Teachers here are highly qualified and have efficient knowledge

Dislikes

The fees is a bit high as compared to other DU colleges in North Campus
There is no canteen in college causing inconvenience to students
The college does not provide any transportation

Internships Opportunities:

The companies like Amar Ujala, Swadesh 24x7, political bazaar, PCI, etc come to provide internship, the roles offered are reporter, content creator, research executive, etc. The job is minimal, just to gain some experience and the perk is that you also get 10k-30k as stipend during the internship period.

Our collage have Great infrastructure and faculty
Collage environment is safe aand friendly
The course is very unique because our college professors are great

Dislikes

Sometimes we get bore because students are very less in our college
The negative side of our college is that the space of our college is less because in our college their is one more college (CIC) which is quite weard to have 2 colleges in one building
There are no fests etc. in our college nor are there any grand functions due to which we have to go to another college, so we have fun and entertainment

Internships Opportunities:

The major companies are zee news , and news18 india which provide and offer placements to the students with packages , diffrent students are given diffrent works and tasks to perform under the internship like analyzing a news , checking it's authenticity, collecting a news , preparing a report etc this provedies students with a huge exposure and experience in the field

Delhi school of Journalism - Innovation of DU

Likes

Delhi School of Journalism is the only college in India that provide comprehensive journalism bachelor's studies. The designed course way towards practical learning and skill enhancement. Moreover, the brand of Delhi University always backs the DSJ.
DSJ is a college that allow the student to learn basics of all fields of Journalism from news writing, reporting, anchoring to photography, editing , Public Relation, etc. It helps the students to obtain the skills of research and creativity.
Being in the North Campus of Delhi University, the students themselves get a great level of exposure along with diverse opportunities. The course, knowledge dispersion and exposure are really good at Delhi school of Journalism, Delhi University.

Dislikes

There is no permanent faculty at DSJ, all teachers are guest faculty result in very disturbed schedule. Along with the Adminstration of college is not that much effective and workaholic. DSJ needs more attention from Delhi University to develop.
Currently the status of campus placements are very poor.. Not a single proper placement is done by the college. The college outreach and brand value is still at its zero level. Students have to suffer of unemployment in their last year.

Internships Opportunities:

There are many internship of National Human Rights Commission, Press Council of India, Press Trust of India, NDTV and many more provided by the Placement cell of Delhi School of Journalism. The college is now starting to provide more and more internship opportunities to its students

Internships Opportunities:

DSJ has a placement cell that helps students find jobs in well-known media companies after they graduate. But only after completing masters. The growing network of DSJ alumni in the media industry provides current students with valuable networking opportunities and mentorship.

Likes

The college environment is very good and modern.
College infrastructure and campus is very nice.
The nearest metro station is at walking distance

Dislikes

The campus is a bit smaller than the other colleges in DU
The societies are not very much active as the other colleges.
There is a lesser number of choices in the subjects.

Internships Opportunities:

The internship opportunities start from the third semester which means the second year. The students will be able to fill the forms provided by the college for the respective internships, the internship programs are also influenced by the scores you secure in the forst and second semester.

Likes

Teachers and professors are allways supportive and encouraging
Helpfull Senior's behavior helps very much for future preparation and job seeking in college
Best part of this college is that its in North campus so your can enjoy all colleges fests.

Dislikes

Campus is quite cool , modern and recently made , but its very small.
There are not much courses in this college, hence you will not get crowd in this collage like others.

Internships Opportunities:

From the first year only you will get internship opportunities. Delhi University gives you every opportunity for internships and job, you just need lor (letter of recommendations) so, Just make you teachers your side for a good internship.
