Chhattisgarh BTech admission 2025 is based on CG PET and JEE Main scores. The seats are allotted based on a centralised counselling process conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Raipur.

The result for CG PET 2025 can be released in July 2025. DTE, Raipur can start the counselling process from August 2025. Seat allotment and college reporting for Phase I can also be conducted in August 2025.

To be eligible for Chhattisgarh BTech admission, you should have cleared class 12 with 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. BTech is an undergraduate course that deals with various engineering principles and applications.

What is the BTech eligibility in Chhattisgarh?

The eligibility criteria for BTech admission in Chhattisgarh are set by the DTE, Raipur. You can check the eligibility below.

  • You should have passed class 12 from the Chhattisgarh Board or any other recognised board.
  • You should have scored at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as prescribed by the AICTE.

What are the fees for Chhattisgarh BTech Admission 2025?

DTE Raipur sets the fees for different courses according to their levels. For undergraduate courses including BTech, candidates have to pay INR 300 as a counselling fee. It can be paid online using a credit card, debit card or net banking.

How Chhattisgarh BTech counselling is done?

Chhattisgarh BTech counselling is conducted in a completely online format. After registration and fee payment, you can proceed with the choice filling. Candidates who have not paid the counselling fee cannot participate in the counselling process.

A merit list is prepared for admission in descending order of percentage of marks obtained in CG PET/ JEE Main or descending order of percentage of total marks in the final year of the diploma in engineering exam.

If two candidates have the same percentage of marks, an older candidate is placed higher on the merit list. Reserved candidates from other states are considered as general for the counselling process.

DTE Raipur conducts counselling in 2 rounds along with one institutional-level round. You can check the order of seat allotment below.

  • Seats are first allotted to Chhattisgarh domicile candidates according to the merit list. If seats remain vacant, they are filled with domicile candidates only.
  • After seat allotment for domicile candidates, the remaining seats are made available to candidates outside of the Chhattisgarh state as per the merit list.

The same counselling procedure is followed for the vacant seats after the first round. Candidates who did not get any allotment in the first phase or did not apply can apply in the second phase.

Candidates with seat allotment in the first phase can also apply in the second phase. Their previous allotment will be cancelled. Vacant seats after the second phase are filled through institutional-level counselling.

After allotment, you have to download the provisional allotment letter. Your admission will only be valid if the institute confirms it online. After confirmation, you also have to submit the OTP to confirm the admission.
