Telangana MTech Admission 2025 is done through the Telangana State Postgraduate Engineering Entrance Test (TS PGECET). TS PGCET is a state-level engineering entrance exam administered by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of the Telangana State Council for Higher Education (TSCHE).

MTech is a postgraduate engineering program of two years. To be eligible to pursue the MTech course in Telangana, candidates must have completed their undergraduate program in a relevant field of engineering from a recognized university with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks. 

JNTUH has released the official exam date for TS PGECET 2025. Telangana MTech Entrance Examination is scheduled for June 16 – June 19, 2025, and the registration to seek Telangana MTech Admission will begin on March 17 – 19, 2025.

Telangana MTech Admission 2025: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for Telangana MTech Admission are listed below.

  • The candidate should be from the State of Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. 
  • The candidate should meet the local / non-local status requirements as laid down in the regulations of admission. (Ref. G.OMs.No.153 dated 22-08-2007) 
  • The candidate must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination in order to qualify for TS PGECET 2025 for M.Tech admission in Telangana 2025.

Telangana MTech Admission 2025: Documents Required

Before completing the TS PGECET application form for 2025, students must ensure that they possess all the necessary documents in the specified format. These documents are required by the authorities to verify eligibility and conduct a background check.
