AICTE Commences Online Registrations for PhD, ME, and MTech Courses; Direct Link Here

New Delhi: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) Chairman, Prof. T.G. Sitharam, launched full-time Master's (M.E./M.Tech.) and Ph.D. programs under the Quality Improvement Programme (QIP). Eligible candidates must register for the AICTE ME/MTech and PhD program online by June 20, 2024, at qip.aicte-india.org. 

Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews/tests by the QIP Institute/Department through their email ID. This is a full-time program which is available for faculty members of AICTE-approved polytechnic and engineering institutes willing to pursue master’s degree in QIP program.

What is the eligibility criteria to apply for AICTE Full-time Masters and PhD programs?

The following eligibility criteria must be fulfilled to apply for the AICTE Program:

For Master's Programme:

• Must be a full-time regular or permanent faculty member at AICTE-approved Polytechnic (Diploma) institutes.
• Must possess at least one year of teaching experience at the polytechnic level.
• Must hold a Bachelor's degree in the relevant branch.

For PhD Programme in Engineering/Management:

• Must be a full-time regular or permanent faculty member at AICTE-approved degree or diploma-level institutes.
• Must have at least three years of teaching experience at the graduate level.
• Must hold a Master's degree in the relevant branch.

The Quality Improvement Program (QIP) aims to:

• To enable sponsored teachers to pursue advanced degrees (Master's and Doctoral).
• To foster a culture of research and enhance educational capabilities.
• Expose teachers to enriching academic environments.
• Enhance the expertise and capabilities of faculty members at AICTE-approved degree and diploma-level institutions.
• Equip faculty members with the necessary knowledge and skills for effective teaching. 
• Implement and monitor improvements in faculty education through AICTE.

How to Apply for AICTE Full Time Masters and PhD Program?

You can follow the below mentioned steps to apply for Masters and Phd Courses offered by AICTE:

Step 1- Visit the official website of AICTE QIP Programs

Step 2- Click on the Register button given on the right corner of the window

Step 3- Fill in the required details and register

Step 4- After completing the registration process you will get the link toaccess the application form for your preferred course

Step 5- Fill up the application form careful and pay the application fee of INR 1700

Step 6- Submit the application form and keep a printout of it for future use. 

The official notification reads, "The 18-credit programme for six months duration will be held in hybrid mode and will be offered by IISc, IITs, IIITs, and C-DAC for selected faculty members. The programme will be fully funded by AICTЕ."
