Allahabad University reiterates Examination Duty mandatory for teaching, non-teaching staff

New Delhi: The Allahabad University (AU) has issued an office notice stating that by the resolution adopted by the Examinations Committee during its session on January 09, 2024, Examination Duty is obligatory for both teaching and non-teaching staff. 

The university further stipulates that failure to fulfil Examination Duty will result in issuing a show cause notice, with a copy to be included in the individual's file.

The annual examination for the 2023-2024 session at Allahabad University is ongoing. The university administration has instructed students to refrain from creating any disturbances on the campus. All students are notified that any kind of noise, disruptive behaviour, and any Holi-related cultural events are strictly prohibited on the university premises.

The university said "If anyone is found committing these act, strict disciplinary action will be taken against them. All students must keep a valid identity card with them."
