Andhra Pradesh AYUSH Counseling 2024: Reopens Counselling for BAMS, BHMS & BUMS Admissions

Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences in Andhra Pradesh has announced the reopening of online applications for admissions into AYUSH courses, specifically BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery), BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery), and BUMS (Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery) for the academic year 2024-25. This reopening is intended to give eligible candidates another opportunity to secure seats in AYUSH programs under the Competent Authority Quota.The online application portal will be open till November 7, 2024, 9 PM.

Key Details:

• Application Period: The online application portal will be open from 2:00 PM on November 5, 2024 to 9:00 PM on November 7, 2024.
• Eligibility: This opportunity is available for candidates from OC, SC, ST, BC, and PwD categories who have qualified in NEET-UG 2024. Both Local and Non-Local candidates may apply under the Competent Authority Quota, provided they meet the basic eligibility criteria.

NEET-UG 2024 Qualifying Criteria and Cutoff Scores:

Candidates must meet the following NEET-UG 2024 cutoff scores to be eligible for admission:

• General/EWS Category: 50th percentile, score range 720-162
• SC/ST/BC & PwD Categories: 40th percentile, score range 161-127
• PwD (OC/EWS): 45th percentile, score range 161-144

Candidates who have already registered but were unable to upload necessary documents previously are now eligible to complete the process under this new notification.
