BHU scholarships

A local from Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, named BN Shukla donated to BHU as part of the pratidana campaign to start new scholarships in honour of his parents. Venu Gopal, the deputy registrar of the funded research and industrial consultancy cell, received the money from BN Shukla. The amount given by BN Shukla is a part of the pratidana project, which BHU launched in February 2022 (last year).

According to the official statement, the pratidana initiative's major goal is to support all the deserving students seeking need-based financial aid by offering scholarships. The announcement also stated that the scholarships will support excellent teaching, improve student learning opportunities, and enable other students to engage in fruitful research.

The initiative is based on the vice-chancellor Sudhir Kumar's aim "to connect with alumni, well-wishers, and friends of BHU," according to the official announcement.
