BSEB Class 9, 11 Students to Compulsorily Appear in & Pass Annual Exams for Promotion

BSEB has mandated that students must pass classes 9th and 11th to appear in class 10th and 12th exams, respectively. Class 9th exams will be held between March 16 and 20, whereas class 11th between March 13 and March 20, 2024.

New Delhi: The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has issued guidelines stating that students must pass their annual exams in classes 9 and 11 to be eligible for the class 10 and 12 board examinations. It will be considered unfair for students to skip these exams. Therefore, attending classes 9 and 11 is mandatory for promotion to classes 10 and 12, respectively.

This measure aims to strengthen students' academic foundations before they appear in the BSEB class 10 and BSEB class 12 exams, significantly impacting their educational and professional futures. Implementation of this regulation will begin in the current academic session, and students must meet the specified criteria to qualify for the class 10 and 12 board examinations.

The Bihar Board has already released the BSEB Class 9 and 11 annual exam timetable for 2024. According to the announced schedule, the Class 9 annual exams will take place from March 16 to 20, 2024, and the Class 11 annual exams will be held from March 13 to March 20, 2024.
