As of now, the provisional answer key and response sheet have been released. The objection window is open till Dec 08, 2023. In case, any objections are accepted by the official authorities, the final answer key and the CAT 2023 result will be released in January 2024.

Yes, the CAT Answer Key 2023 is available for download on the official website. Candidates must log in using valid credentials to download the CAT Provisional Answer Key from the website @iimcat.ac.in 2023. In case of any discrepancies and to challenge the answer key, they must pay a fee of INR 1,200 per objection till Dec 8, 2023 (5:00 PM).

The CAT 2023 response sheet release date is first week of December 2023 (expected). IIM Lucknow will release the response sheet on the official website at iimcat.ac.in, in a PDF format

CAT 2023 final answer key will be released at least 2 days before the result announcement (likely in the first week of January 2024). It will be released only if any of the objections raised by any candidates are found valid and the preliminary answer key is revised. 

• Step 1: Click on the ‘Forgot User ID/ Password’ option available on the login page.
• Step 2: Enter the registered E-Mail ID carefully.
• Step 3: Enter the ‘Captcha’ code.
• Step 4: Click on the ‘Get User ID/ Password’ button
• Step 5: You will receive details on your registered E-Mail ID

IIM Lucknow is expected to declare the CAT Results in the 1st week of January 2023. Once released, candidates can check their result status by logging into their candidate profile using their user ID and password on the official website.

• For each correct answer, 3 marks are awarded
• For each incorrect answer, 1 mark will be deducted

Formula to calculate CAT Raw score: 3 X (Number of Correct Responses) - 1 X (Number of Incorrect Responses)

Step 1: Visit the official website of CAT at iim.cat.ac.in.

Step 2: Login by entering your CAT Login ID and password.

Step 3: Click on the tab “Objection form” and select details and type of objection.

Step 4: Submit the form and pay the objection fee of INR 1200 per objection through debit/credit or Net banking.

Step 5: Review the application and submit the form to complete the process.

Once after the release of the CAT 2023 official answer key, the objection window will be open for applicants who wish to raise objections against the answers in case they have any doubts. To challenge the answer key, candidates have to submit the application and pay the required fee. The CAT 2023 Results will be prepared based on the final answer key.
