CBSE Board Exam 2024: Practical Exam Dates for Class 10

New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the practical examination dates for the CBSE Board Exams 2024. These dates apply to practical exams for Class 10 and 12 students in schools with a winter schedule. Candidates can access the CBSE Class 10 and 12 practical exam dates on the official CBSE website at cbse.gov.in.

According to the provided CBSE schedule, the CBSE Class 10 and 12 practical exams, along with the internal assessment for winter-bound schools during the 2023-24 academic session, are scheduled to take place from November 14 to December 14, 2023.

All practical exam scores should be uploaded collectively, commencing from the conclusion of the practical tests until the last day of these examinations.

In an effort to ensure impartial and equitable assessment, the board has mandated that Practical Examinations and Project Assessments should be conducted across two or three sessions daily, contingent on the school's lab infrastructure.

In cases where the number of students exceeds 30, this approach should be adopted. For Fine Arts, examinations must occur in two sessions for each student, as per the board's instructions.

The CBSE Board has clarified that it will not appoint external examiners for the class 10 practical exams, and it won't provide practical answer books. Schools are entrusted with the responsibility of making all necessary arrangements for these exams.

Conversely, for the Class 12 practical exams, the Board will assign external examiners in each school to conduct the assessments and evaluate the projects.

Furthermore, the Board's notice stipulates that when there are more than 30 students, practical tests must be conducted in two or three sessions throughout the day to ensure an equitable and precise evaluation.
