New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has come up with a some new changes for the CBSE Class 10 curriculum 2024-25. Out of them, the most significant one is that from now CBSE Class 10 students will have the ability to swap their failing marks in the compulsory subjects of science, mathematics, or social sciences with their marks in a skill subject.

Similarly, CBSE Class 10 students will be able to switch their marks in the language subjects. As long as the student has passed either English or Hindi, they can swap a language subject in which they have failing marks with a secondary language subject in which they have passed. These changes have largely been made to reduce the stress of Class 10 students and to give them the flexibility to explore their interests in school.
