New Delhi: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the detailed syllabus for Classes 10 and 12 for the academic session 2024-25. Candidates can check the CBSE curriculum and details regarding internal assessment on CBSE official websites, cbse.gov.in and cbseacademic.nic.in.

CBSE Board syllabus is available in English and Hindi languages for students to check. Apart from this, all the CBSE schools have been instructed to review the National Credit Framework the University Grants Commission (UGC) prepared.

While the CBSE curriculum aims to enhance school education's flexibility and multidisciplinary nature to address the challenges of the 21st century. The credit system seeks to improve the compulsory subjects and learning hours.

Class 10th Syllabus 2024-25

Class 10 students have five compulsory subjects and two optional subjects. In Mathematics, the board examination is conducted at two levels. Students opting for basic Mathematics can select Applied Mathematics (241) as an elective in Class 11 instead of Mathematics (041).

On the other hand, those choosing Mathematics can choose either of the two available Mathematics subjects at the senior secondary level.

The CBSE Class 12 has seven learning areas: languages, humanities, mathematics, sciences, skill subjects, general studies, and health and physical education.
