CENTAC has announced the Special Stray Vacancy Round for MBBS admissions under the Management Quota for the academic year 2024-25. Eligible candidates can now participate in the counseling process for vacant seats.

CENTAC Special Stray Vacancy Round of MBBS Counselling

CENTAC is going to conduct a Special Stray Vacancy Round of counselling for admission to the remaining vacant seats of MBBS program under management quota for AY 2024-25.. It has released a list of eligible candidates who will be alloted MBBS seats on December 4, 2024 on the official website i.e. centacpuducherry.in.

Document Verification

Candidates who are eligible for the Special Stray Vacancy Round will likely need to go through a verification process where they submit the necessary documents. All the required documents are listed below.

NEET UG 2024 Admit Card
NEET UG 2024 Scorecard
Class 10th and 12th Marksheets
Caste Certificate (if applicable)
Domicile Certificate (for Puducherry residents)
Identity proof (Aadhaar, Passport, etc.)

Choice Filling and Locking

After the verification of documents, students filling in Management Quota college choices may use an online process to do so. Students will be able to select all their desired institutions and courses on the basis of availability before being required to select choices.

Seat Allotment

Based on the choices filled and merit, CENTAC will allot the vacant MBBS seats to candidates. The allotment will take place based on NEET UG rank, reservation criteria, if any, and preference of candidates.

Fee Payment

Candidates will have to pay the required tuition fee after the allotment of seats to confirm entry to their college. The necessary details for the fee deposit along with the deadline will be announced by CENTAC. Failure to deposit the required fee within the stipulated time may lead to cancellation of the seat.

Reporting to the Allot College

Once assigned a seat, the candidate should report to the respective college for further admission formalities. Once a candidate completes all of the admission formalities, they will be admitted to the MBBS course under the Management Quota.
