Central University of Himachal Pradesh is accepting applications for Ph.D. Programs of Study AY 2024-25. The last date to apply is November 27, 2024. The University will be conducting entrance tests scheduled for December 22, 2024. Candidates must have passed the PG examination in the concerned subject with 55% marks to be eligible for Ph.D. admission.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the Ph.D. program at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh must meet the eligibility criteria as mentioned below:
- Candidates must have passed the PG examination in the concerned subject with 55% marks (5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/Divyang candidates)
- Candidates must have qualified for one of the following examinations
- UGC- JRF
- UGC-NET
- UGC-NET (Qualified for Admission to PhD only)
- UGC-CSIR -JRF
- UGC-CSIR NET
- ICAR- JRF/SRF
- ICMR-JRF
- DBT-JRF
- SLET
- Teacher Fellowship Holder
- M.Phil
- Himachal Pradesh Kendriya Vishwavidyalaya Shodh Patrata Pariksha (HPKVSPP)

The Entrance Test for the Ph.D. will be conducted in Dharamshala, Distt. Kangra. Candidates must qualify for the entrance test to get admission to the Ph.D. course at the Central University of Himachal Pradesh.
